Ziost - Crown of the Sith Empire

The command centre was well equipped and spacious, allowing Jo'ren the room to work out while Lt. Hin focused on breaking the latest code. So far she had scored him a lifetime supply of sex enhancement products and not much else. It had brought a smile to his face but he was getting impatient.

"Ah, my Lord. I think I've found something important."

He stopped his reps. "Bout time. What have you got?"

On the console it reads:

Jo'ren looked at the screen blankly. "What does that mean? Some sort of slicer code?" He turned to look at Ashley. "Any ideas?"

She frowned and then said, "I think he wants to know our age and location... maybe our gender?"

"This better not be more sex toys."

He sat down next to Ashley and took the pad. After a few moments he sighed, chose a username, and started typing.

He looked at Ashley and shrugged.

A folder is downloaded and inside the folder are over two hundred pictures of chibi wookiee maids in daring poses… except every few pictures there is a not wookiee in a daring if naughty pose, human faces, still chibi but people that look familiar and then it hits him these are all faces of military officers in the Imperial Armed forces.

"Okay Lt. Let's put names to these faces. I wonder if they're contacts or targets?"

<Sudaj131 has disconnected>

Ashley nodded and started doing as instructed.

Jo'ren also disconnected and rose to pace back and forth while Ashley worked. She was something of a whizz with computers but he found the work intolerably dull. There was other business that he could attend to.

"Keep up the good work. It's time I spoke with my Master."

Moving over to the opposite end of the large command table he put in a call to Darth Vengean.

Vengean answered, “Lord Rath, report.”

Jo'ren bowed respectfully. "Master. Weapons production and transport is proceeding as planned. I require more raw materials at your earliest convenience. Preferably bodies and ore."

With Ashley working away he could give Vengean his full attention.

"I am at your disposal if you have need of me during these council proceedings?"

Vengean got right to the point, “I am sending an apprentice to work with you, you have distinguished yourself and I need more good Sith in my service. Mold him, make him strong, punish him when he fails, reward him when he succeeds. I know you make him a weapon worthy of me.”

“He should be there on the morrow.”

That was unexpected. "I'm honoured Master. I will train him well and bring strength to our cause. When you have time I would like to take up your offer to learn more about the application of the force." (OOC: Mentor bonus)

Jo'ren paused to consider the implications and opportunities of training an apprentice. It was going to be an interesting change.

"I will look into the aspirants for the council seat and report back when we meet."

“When next we meet I will test your strength in the Force, and make you stronger,” he said gruffly.

"Yes, my Master. Do you require anything else of me for the moment?"

"Unless you can restart the war, I have nothing pressing," he said sternly.

"If only. I will not keep you further Master. I look forward to training this apprentice." He vowed and waited for
Vengean to cut the transmission before returning good attention to Ashley.

"Any luck?"

"It's a list, I have cross referenced the faces with the Imperial database and these are all officers stationed in this sector," she replied.

"My guess these are targets, maybe?"
