Ziost - Crown of the Sith Empire

The Doctor munched on a small plate of food Vair'ea brought over as his work continued. It was a risk getting crumbs in his work, but the Chiss would bug him until he ate it he tried to skip a meal. So ate he did, at least that kept the woman out of his hair.

Remmington is out enjoying the sights with Verandi for a while before the part ways. Along his way he spots a laboratory that catches his interest. He decides to take a look and approaches the building.

"Hello?" He calls out.

"Um, can I help you?" Called a female voice. The Takanomi building wasn't a place most days, and got few visitors. Mostly the people who went inside, worked there, and it was easy to spot the odd Sith Lord.

"Ah sorry. This place just caught my attention. I didn't actually need anything. I am just curious." Remmington answers.

"Oh..." She pursed her lips, thoughtfully. "Well, I could show you around a bit if you like." She offered politely. "But mostly it's only a bunch of us Citizens managing different business transactions. Someone has to make sure the correct couriers deliver the packages to the right locations."

"Though Dr. Alister does keep his labs in the sub basement."

Remmington smiles and nods. "I will appreciate a tour. Though a lab you say?" His interest is piqued.

"Yes." She began to lead him through the offices. "Doctor Alister rents some space in the sub basements for hi personal use. Sadly I can't give you a tour of it, but if you like I can take you down there."

"I certainly am interested in seeing it. Please lead the way." Remmington gestures for her to continue. "What kind of doctor is Doctor Alister by the way?"

Of course he was here for the lab a Sith Lord would have no interest in their business. "Okay." She offered simply after a few moments, before takign him to an elevator. "I can't tell you much about what the Doctor does, we really does ask him too many questions."

Arriving at the elevator she offered a smile. "Just press the button Labeled L, someone at the Lab will take it from here."

Remmington nods. "Thank you." He does as instructed and hits the button to go down to the lap.

The Elevator leads down several floors where at last with a ding it oopens. Remmington was greeted moments laters by a young Chiss woman who beams a bright smile at him. "Hello and Welcome to Dr. Alister's Office!" She offered in a chipper tone. "How can I help you today?"

Remmington offers a polite bow. "Good morning. I am Remmington Thalalas. The laboratory caught my attention so I came to check it out. What field does Doctor Alister work in?"

"Ah..." Was that a name she knew? No. "The Doctor studies quite a few different fields. Physics, Chemistry, and engineering as well as a few other things."

"Were you perhaps looking to commission some work, Mister Thalalas?"

Remmington considers this. "Perhaps. It depends on what he can do and what rate he charges. I have a pretty good aptitude for mechanics myself."

"He works with a lot of things Mr. Thalos. If you aren't here to do business though, may I ask your intentions?" She asked with a polite smile.

"Well he may be able to work on things that I am not able to. There is also the possibility of collaborating on a project." Remmington says as he looks around. "This is a pretty nice set up."

"I'll call up the Doctor and you can discuss it." She offered after a moment of thought. "He will be able to better explain his skills to you.

Taking a few moments to speak into her com, she glanced back to Remmington. "He'll be up in a few moments. "

Remmington nods. "Thank you very much." He waits patiently for the doctor to show up.

It was not a long wait. After a few minutes Alister came up and looked at the sith.

'How can i help you, sir."

Remmington offers the doctor a polite bow. "Good morning doctor. I am Remmington Thalalas. Your lab caught my attention so I came by to check it out. I am curious as to what services and products you offer. I have an interest in machines and computers, so I may be interested in possibly collaborating on a project together if that interests you."
