An airspeeder felt sluggish, cold. Still, it was what was required considering the invitation. He had brought out his formal dress uniform. The rank pin, the symbol of Clan Rook, his boots, cuffs, and code cylinder. All polished to a mirror finish.

His dress boots almost could reflect the light back, unscuffed and pristine from uniform regulation. His hair was teased so the natural curl fell away from his face. As he stepped out of the vehicle, he put on his officer cap, and opened the door for his superior officer.

"I'd have much preferred the jetpack, ma'am."

"I know Rook," answered the Colonel reassuringly, "Sadly official functions call for less comfortable means. I'm pretty sure you can count on one hand how many times you've seen me in fatigues, and this is why."

She smiled before adding, "It's a pain, sorry."

Mahr was not sure if he was confortable with the stranger's sudden accolades. Something he expressed openly with with a glare.

"I am...a person who makes trouble. Of course, looking around, I could never do that much. So maybe...maybe I am the ones that helps people. Helps the ones who need it most"

“It would be the Corpse of the Eagle, as far as fitting in with the story it simply enhances the emphasis of control and finality. If you wish to exploit that for your own gain among the Sith, have at it. As we have some history together, I presumed you would leap at such an opportunity,” he responded with his cold demeanor.

She repeated contemplatively to no-one, and then moved back to the party, redonning her sociable expression. Instead of joining the floor, he just walked on stage and gestured for her Bith band to provide the ambience. Tapping the floating mic, she chuckled once into it to draw attention, then began singing when the note felt right.

"It's a matter of choice." he frowned. "I wasn't given a choice earlier. I was unable to resist the strings controlling me. I regret the things I did, primarily because I was forced to do them. Even if I do lose control again, I'd like it to be by my own decisions."

He tapped the still full glass in front of him.

Tyr had had his fill of people, the battle to control the spaceport had been messy, thronged with people almost as insane as Tyr, he'd seen first-hand what had happened. He said nothing.
