Jo'ren and Ashley conferred over the comms with the squad to ensure that the shell struck precisely where it would do the most damage.

There was an earth-shattering KABOOM!

[The explosive force seems to bury the larger of the two monoliths in debris and rocks as it roars, exploding much of the debris off of it. still it would buy them some time before it tore itself free in a fury.

OOC: They will have 3 turns till it is free.

The roar of the artillery strike filled Tyr's ears. Adrenaline flowed through his veins, and it felt like fire, it was more intoxicating than any alcohol he had tried. His eyes glittered, pupils dilating until his eyes were all but swallowed by blackness. His hackles were up, his blood was up, and that wasn’t all that was up. He salivated like a starving man who’d been presented with a perfectly cooked steak, fangs gleaming and drool collecting on his lip.

When the artillery order hd been placed, Mahr knew it was time. He reached into a pouch to get a blackish substance the he puts on his face as war paint

The juvenile monolith roars and turns to focus on the new prey while the rubble pile behind it seems to be shifting as the alpha tries to work itself free.

OOC: Triumph on init allows a free maneuver before start of the combat. The Alpha has Adversary 2 and Defense 1, Juvenile has Adversary 1 and Defense 1, Juvenile is at Medium range to the team and the Alpha is at Long but buried. Will flip Destiny if they are attacked.

Tyr opened his mouth, and strands of thick, foamy saliva stretched between his teeth. The noise of the artillery strike still rang in his ears, and the falling stones had not yet settled. Throwing his head back, he released a primal howl. It came from deep in his chest, thunderous and ancient and horrible. It bounced off the ravine walls, echoing back until it sounded like a thousand wolves giving voice, it reverberated in the chests and the hearts of those who heard it. It harmonised with the pulsating Force, rippling through everything.

Lowering his chin again, Tyr stalked towards the smaller of the monoliths, steadily and slowly.

The power of the Force ripples through the juvenile and it recoils from the beast like sentient while behind it the Alpha has ripped free from the rubble pile.

OOC: The Juvenile is terrified as the Alpha rips free from the rubble with a successful Athletics check. It suffers a strain, so Alpha has suffered 1 strain. Juvinile does nothing on it's turn, Alpha is free and active.

Xyll moved forward, not liking her chances on hitting it from the range she was at; as she did so, she ripped up a large rock from the ground without touching it, before sending it flying toward the juvenile, slamming it into the creature with substantial force.

The beasts roared, Tyr roared, Mahr roared and the fight was on

Fuelled by his battle fury Mahr sprinted towards the lesser beast with frightening speed and swing his axe to spill the monster's blood in the name of his Queen and the Red God

His rage was overpowering

OOC: It's a 15 meter tall monster, he is scary but not that scary, and the Terror effect already lasts what two turns? So use it for something else. The creature takes no wounds, critical injury does not take effect.

OOC: Does'nt he have 13 soak? With Pierce 2 I should have just enough to wound him unless he is cortosis. I will use my triumph to make him lose balance by hitting him in the knee?

OOC: The head and just under the neck look to be vital areas of atack... of course getting up there would be difficult... Hard Athletics or Coordination check to get up there.

OOC: There is some loose rubble from the blast, she could possibly dislodge if she climbed up the rock face or a well placed blaster shot, but it would cause an uncontrollable rockslide which might put her allies in danger.

I will roll for Jo'ren but probably be thirty minutes to an hour.

Lt. Hin tries to get a better look at the monsters and slips and falls deeper into the area where the beasts are raging.
