Wrong sort of party for you, too, then." She grinned behind the rim of her liquor flute. "You ought to try dancing some time, though. The cross-over is more significant than you might guess."

“Taken under advisement,” he begrudgingly conceded. Tyr’s eyes flicked about the room, his ears twitching as snippets of conversation filtered through the dull roar of multiple conversations. He huffed impatiently, his brow furrowing.

"Anyone here you're curious about, master Tyr?" Shelzais took another casual sip of her drink, performing a reasonably convincing impression of a person whose conversation partner was a normal party guest and not a nightmare werewolf. There were undoubtedly people here who would make more charming or amusing small talk, but the frisson of chitchatting with someone who could probably take her face off with his teeth before she could get her lightsaber in hand--and sleep well afterward, too, no doubt--was easily the most interesting sensation she'd experienced in the last handful of days.

"Specifically? no," the shistavanen shook his head, returning his gaze to bedazzled sith. "I only arrived on Ziost recently and I need to get the lay of the land, and my potential enemies."

Lord Tenebrous wrote:"Alderaanian," she chuckled at that. "What do they know about fashion? The ones I've seen seem too fond of corsetry, and sparkles. Or uniforms."

Her gaze wandered over those gathered so far. Too much dresses in black and red. It was so boring and predictable - people lacked originality and daring when it came to fashion choices, it seemed. At least the lovely Sek had the sense to wear gold.

"Practicing Ataru wherever she went? You mean she was doing flips and cartwheels in the hallways or in conversation?"

"They are fond of their uniforms." Dayana flicked some hair back for a bit of flair. "Especially that Captain Alderaan. Oh, well, some of our Moffs sure do love uniforms too."

Dayana herself was a bit of a conformist. Didn't help that her vision was quite different from others.

"Both, actually, though the frequency of the latter certainly decreased."

"Oh my," she chuckled "From the sounds of it, one would almost pity their master. Almost." Shaisha laughed with a bit of a 'mean girl'-streak.

"Makes me wonder how the Jedi even train their apprentices. They all seem like such doofuses who don't really understand the galaxy and its harsh realities. Say what you will of Sith training, at least we learn the harsh realities early on." And in other ways, she thought with some hint of bitterness.

"What was the fashion like on Corellia though, apart from the Alderaanians and Jedi?"

A logical choice, jealousy for the most part was a waste of time. "Well, if you ever wish to see a bit of what it's like you can always stop by lab." He offered with a smile.

"Still I'm curious what you mean by concrete things. I know you mentioned that patterns and puzzles intrigued you, but I imagine that's not all."

Having arrived fashionably late he wore a tailored suit of white with a black undershirt and polished tailored shoes; he had a drink in hand but either was nursing it slowly or simply had it for appearances. He got along easy with guests with a handsome smile and even had a spiited conversation with Darth Vowrawn and his companion of the moment.

At the moment he was observing the plants of the garden.

"I spend most of my evenings puzzling through one problem or the next, so I suppose that makes me quite boring as well." He replied a wry smile making it's way onto his lips.

"Not that being boring means I get to skip out on events like this though. It's important to be seen, or so I'm told."

He nodded, "I've been in contact with a potential business partner with research assets... I am interested in finding more aid within the Empire however... Plague is its own obstacle, but it does then contribute to the spread of so many more obstacles."

“My Master’s enemies are my own,” it came out in that rote sort of fashion of a doctrine deeply ingrained by repetition, not emotion. “Lord Malgus looks to the greater interests of the Empire, threats from within as well as from without. I observe, I remember. And when the shit goes down, I’ll be ready.”
