Ilar smirks slightly.

"Best watch out then, or Khalan might not be the only one with eyes on the Citadel." He jests obviously as he tries to keep the mirth out of his voice.

"Well, honestly, either of us has as much claim on it as the other," she replied with a smirk. "Are you planning to fight me for it?"

"I'll take it for the next 50 years, you can have it for the next few millenia, sound fair?" Ilar jokes with his Master.

He'd never try and come between Raela and her Destiny, as if it weren't for her, he wouldn't even have the potential to carve out any future for himself.

"Besides, a holonerd like you could never stand against..." He lifts up his finally finished creation for Vowrawn's party.

"The Dark Lord Breknar."

She laughed. "Sure."

When he brought up the mask, she put her hands on her cheeks looking shocked. "Not that!"

"I wish you'd reconsider and come along. You could use a little fun after the last few days." Ilar asked as he stepped forward and placed his hands upon Raela's.

She turned her hands to squeeze his with a smile. "I don't think you're wrong, but going out and trying to fit into the social scene isn't my idea of a fun time. I'll leave it to the more outgoing people like yourself."

"I'll curl up with a blanket and something to read and a good view of the night sky, enjoy that, wait until you return, and then thoroughly greet you."

Ilar nodded in understanding. Raela had, for all her freedoms, been more of a homebody than he was.

"If Lord Vowrawn wouldn't likely take it so personally, I'd cancel on behalf of both of us." He laughed lightly. "But I don't think we can afford to completely alienate any members of the Dark Council right now. Should I let chef know to prepare you something, or have you eaten already?"

She laughed along with him and nodded. "You're right, of course. Please let them know to prepare something." She leaned forward and kissed him lightly. "Have fun at the party."
