Malam chuckled and said, “I don’t believe in any of that but I won’t speak without amnesty.”

OOC: Just for Jaheem using the Force on Malam.

Hala stepped forward and withdrew a pair of stims. She held them up clearly in front of her.

"We can call this offer 'amnesty' for now. You do really need some medical attention.... and you will get what you need and more. All you need to do is say yes and tell us about the Killer."

She slipped one stim into the hand bracing her shield, holding the other so that she could dispense it quickly.

"I would prefer to dispense my knowledge in a secure room with some tea," he replied.

"You're in a room with two Sith, this is as secure as it gets for now. Killer information now, so we can continue pursuing him. Water now. A nice, cozy little apartment with tea and security next. I may be the one who wants information in a timely fashion but you're the one who is bleeding Gil... Tell us what we need to know and I will get you back and make your arrangements for you or you exsanguinate slowly here. Cold, poor, thirsty, and dead," she said.

"Then I die, I am prepared for that, Colonel," he said in reply losing the smile.

OOC: Flipping Destiny for Malam, given who he is, Hala knows she won't break him.

(( *facepalm* As an OOC, Hala isn't trying to break him. She's trying to put on a performance to let him say yes so she can get him out. You told me who he is, and I'm doing my best to get him out without breaking his cover. Or her own. ))

Malam relented, "Fine I do value my life... the Killer is a twi'lek force sensitive, he is most likely plotting an attack against the Dark Council on the morrow... now get me out of here."

OOC: It was unclear to me, thanks for clarification.

Tyber watched in awe as the Colonel went to work. There was a smile on his face. He knew that was a fierce interrogator. But seeing her in action was something else.

His weapon quickly holstered, he kept vigilant over the room.

"My lords," Hala said, turning towards the two Aspirants, then in turn the other two, "Lieutenant, and Ms. Melmoar, are you prepared to pursue the Killer? And capture him alive, if possible? I will escort Mr. Gil above and see that he is taken into protective custody, then rejoin you as quickly as possible."

She walked over to the wall and cranked Gil down out of the air. She then strode back over to him and disconnected the binders from the chain. She then injected him with one of the stims, tucking the empty cartridge back into her belt, and curled her left hand gently above his elbow.

"If you'll come with me, Mr. Gil?"

Tyber straightened up, saluting.

"Yes, ma'am!" His cadence crisp, looking to the Colonel. A smirk on his lips beneath his helmet.

Edit due to me overreading previous dialogue.

What was it with all these rogue alien Force Sensitives running around these days, she wondered for a brief moment. But this all seemed... convenient. In all the wrong ways. But she couldn't put her finger on it. Most likely it was the situation of everything - from the aspirant challenges, the mess of the entire investigation into the Eagle, or that they had been wading through a sewer - that had her on edge and made her a touch more paranoid than usual.

"Do you need backup, colonel? Public Security can be called in to meet with you asap," she asked.

“You see it, your senses are telling you something is not right… not that you would listen to me, but they are lying to you,” Valkorian replied.

“I could unmask him… reveal the truth. But you would have to let me.”

"I already called for a team Lord Tenebrous," she said affirmatively, "Best not to take any more resources from the advance team, especially if the Killer has a connection with the Force. Good hunting."

She offered a deferential nod to the two Sith, then Moraal began escorting Gil out of the room back towards the upper levels.

She wasn't sure how much she would trust Valkorian... and she wouldn't risk unleashing his power here and now, knowing they'd have to fight this Killer soon.

But she would let Paz know about this later, and from there they could look into Gil and the Colonel.

"Alright, let's move out against this Killer."

OOC: Survival check to track this Killer, it will be Hard or they can try a Stealth check at Daunting if they want to take him by surprise.

Jaheem gave himself a quick stim pack to finish healing the damage the turret did before. Then he nodded to the others "Let's find this Killer and put an end to this."

((Am no good at either check to track the Killer probably best if someone else does it.)l

"Now to find a killer you have to think like a killer, and we're all killers here."
Several heads turn to look at Jan

"....Well okay Lieutenant Rook usually fights non-lethally....and Lord Tenebrous is more than a simple killer and Lord Abasi....well! Everyone knows Lord Abasi. And of course I'm just a simple businesswoman, so none of us are killers.....But if we were then I think I could lead us in thinking like him."

Jan chews her lip before bringing up her rifle and checking her scopes, muttering

"Okay folks, stand close to me if you would."
Her dress' holoprojectors go into overtime and soon a small squad of boxes was ready to discretely approach the killer.

"Let's go catch a killer."
Her box bulges a little as it shoots some finger guns before silently disappearing into the darkness ahead.
