Remmington attends Imperial Court and finds a spot to watch the proceedings and make notes about the monumental decisions going into debate.

After delivering his speech, Rumun returns to his place. He was somewhat satisfied with his intervention. It could had been better but these were not ordinary people.

And he was just an apprentice.

Lord Bellious stepped out of the spotlight to watch what would occur on the floor and to observe Councillors' reactions.

Lucinia was there, as she had been there the day before, watching the proceedings without comment. Or, as of yet, haughty laughter.

"Perhaps now is the time where I will entreat your input," Dayana mused with a small smile. She pursed her lips, continuing with, "Unless you believe that execution is the path forward."

She shrugged. "That doesn't seem in line with your approach."

"I would argue that that would only breed disdain within the survivors. The victims would be martyrs for their cause." Dayana smirked. "It may even be preferable to execute the lot of them."

She flicked some hair out of her visage. "No half measures, darling."

"Perhaps. Or perhaps fear would keep them in line." Lucinia said dismissively.

She tilted her head, still smiling. "And you think they should be pardoned? Not just ignored?"

"Half-measured is indeed foolish," Lord Tenebrous agreed as she joined Dayana and Lucinia. "Though I find betrayal to be an offense punisheable by death, if I had to choose between Lady Valthen's suggestion or only killing a few that would then look to the dead as martyrs to lead them into more idiocy, then I'd follow Lady Valthren's suggestion."

"They could be pardoned through labour work after all."

"There is merit to them being ignored. Perhaps that is the best option after all." Dayana shrugged. "I do not fear them. None of us do. To pardon them shows that their little rebellion means nothing to us."

She smiled at Shaisha. "And yes, I do foresee payments being required for these pardons."

"Lady Tenebrous." Lucinia nodded as the Sith approached.

"Hmmm..." Lucinia drummed her well-manicured fingernails on one leg. "And you would like me to support the idea of a pardon?"

Sylvain mingled in the crowd as the court went on.

After he said his piece Jaheem also went into the crowd, he was mildly disgusted by the weakness on display here today. But overall his mood was relatively light.

Lucinia clucked her tongue at her old friend, her eyes narrowing. "I know better than to make it too easy for you. If I don't make you push a bit, who knows what else you might be encouraged to ask of me?"

She smiled. "Besides, I did say you are something of an enigma to me, didn't I?"

Hala stood at a respectful distance from the Sith and paid attention to the arguments being made to the court attentively.

"There is a difference between being obtuse and needing to be convinced," Dayana stated with a sigh. She then smiled, genuinely, and shook her head. "Imperial court is an entirely different beast than the colonies."
