Remmington smirks. "No, though I hear that there were Jedi present. Even a wookie Jedi, can you imagine? No that was ... I guess you can call it a graduation test at Korriban Academy. They dropped us from the atmosphere of Yavin IV and we basically had to quell the Massassi. Which we did.

"....My basic training just had an obstacle course."

Remmington nods. "We had something like that at the beginning of the Academy. They dropped us off in the desert and told us to walk to the Academy from there. Well running was an option too. It was a race to see who got there first. You could cooperate but you didn't get any points for it."

Then he smiles. "Though it sounds like you are making it big since you switched to private. I guess you are pretty high up in the company?"

"Well I'm not one of the directors of course.....I just head one of our smaller offices and run government relations within the Empire. I've only been with Czerka a few years, wouldn't want to get ahead of myself."

"Regardless of whatever criticisms might be leveled at the corp, they know how to treat people well and the pay is good, not that you'd be interested in something as crass as money. Maybe one day I'll end up on the board, wouldn't that be fun? Maybe buy my own desert for hiking...."

"I can appreciate credits. I need to fund my projects somehow after all." Remmington offers a wry smile.

"That is still pretty impressive to be in charge of even a small office and being given the responsibility of dealing with the Empire on behalf of your company. I am sure that you will get your desert sometime in the future. Though why a desert? Most people like something nicer."

"I'm thinking somewhere warm would be a nice change, besides, deserts lead to the most wonderful beaches. And it could be a nice side project, making life bloom....sort of the opposite of my day job."

".....Uh....yeaaaaah. Funny how often I get that, probably a cultural thing. But it's definitely not...because it's for cleaning. Doomsday weapons are their own department, now illegal doomsday weapons, that's something we definitely don't truck in."

Remmington points up. "The atmosphere. The oceans. Even people I guess? Though alchemy and chemistry are not among my strong points. So it is unlikely that I can build something like that. It would probably be easier to figure out a way to detonate a star."

"Hmmm? A Star Destroyer? I worry it could end up being cliche. What you need is a superweapon that's really 'you', really unique. What makes your doomsday device stand out from the crowd? How will people know that it's lord Thalalas who brought doom upon them?"

Remmington thinks for a moment and then grins as he jokingly replies. "How about a nude bomb?"

"Do you have a lab at home? It doesn't sound the sort of thing one wants to try without sufficient precautions...definitely risk for public demonstrations too."
