[Day 3 - LM] Nova Station

The ship breaks from hyperspace and then descends down into the whirling yellowish clouds below and the ship shakes as it is buffeted by 500 kph winds and thick clouds with lightning flashing! Nearly twenty minutes before the sensors pick up an object and then it becomes visible… Nova Station, what was once a Rakata station has been retrofitted many times by many generations of space traveler.

The ship is given a docking birth and the bay is… shielded but loud with the hum of equipment and the rattling of the structure under the powerful winds that buffet the station.

Well, at least he hadn't paid for the pirates to leave only to find them still here. Looking at his team he nodded and made sure they had all of their supplies.

"Okay. This place has clearly seen some use. I'm betting there's still plenty of secrets here though. First up, let's see if we can access the systems and get a map of the place."

Reaching out with the force he tried to locate one of the objects Malak had shown him. Perhaps the Dark side would give him guidance...

In their approach to Nova Station, Shaisha had seated herself in a meditative posture to open herself up to the Force, to glean any possible insight to what could await them here.

Though she was fully prepared for the Force to respond in a most unexpected way, as it often could do.

D3 Morning Foresee about our adventure to Nova Station: 2eF 2 Dark Side

[Lucinia Malveaux]

Lucinia followed along, looking this way and that.

"I can hardly wait." She said in her soft alto voice.

[Dapper Dog]

Jo'ren can sense what they need but feels it is enclosed somewhere or sealed but nearby he can feel it tugging at him... that which he desired.

Lord Tenebrous got a sense of future events, she could see a large rotund twi'lek woman cackling, she was like a mountain and aurum coins slipped through her fingers and whatever they were seeking was behind her. The coins were as large as people and landed with loud thuds and she felt as if she was being chased and then her visions clears.

[Lord Tenebrous]

"There's a twi'lek woman there... large, like a mountain, with many coins," she said her eyes closed still. "She has what you seek. The coins are as large as people, making loud sounds as they land... I sense, we're being chased..."

A sharp intake of breath. And Shaisha opened her eyes.

"That is what the Force shows me."

[Lord Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren narrowed his eyes. "Lt. Hin. While you're looking into the configuration of this station scan it for life signs. We may have missed something on the way in thanks to the atmospheric interference."

The Lieutenant quickly got to work. "Yes sir. I wouldn't put it past the pirates to try a double-cross."

(OOC: What would you like me to roll?)

The interior is crowded with people and busy, chaotic and beyond where they land is what passes for Customs run by a gang of humans and other species carrying blasters and wicked looking weapons most likely a petty gang looking to score protection money but who knows.

The place smells of exotics spices, species, and foods from thousands of worlds… the air was stuffy probably due to overworked scrubbers and a life support system stretched to the limits.

OOC: How is Hin trying to get the layout, the structure is not abandoned.

"Guess we've got some scumbags to deal with first." He flashed a look at Shaisha. "Looks like it's going to be more exciting than I thought."

(OOC: Okie dokie, that changes things . Hin will look for a computer access point or public terminal.)

[Xyll Vanth]

Xyll was fairly quiet as she walked out of the ship with the others. The air was not doing good things to her lungs, she could tell, but she wasn't sure if she cared.

"This better be worth our time," she said, looking at the gangsters.

[Lord Jo'ren Rath]

There was a touch of, what was that, awe? In his response. "There is something here that will make it all worthwhile."

They just need to survive the experience.

[Lord Tenebrous]

Shaisha pulled up her hood, obscuring her features.

"Right. Let's navigate this hive of scum and villainy, see if we can find this rotund twi'lek woman." She cast a look to the big hulking men. "Try not to stick out too much."

Lucinia laughed at that, thankfully quite softly. "Us, avoid sticking out? I shall do my best. It is fortunate that I am the Malveaux for this trip, and not my sister."

She frowned. "Is anyone expecting us?"

[Lord Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren looked at her. "The pirates were paid off to leave us alone for 96 hours. Of course, they're pirates." Even with a dark robe over his armour he wasn't exactly inconspicuous, but the money he had paid out ought to give them some leeway.

[Xyll Vanth]

"Indeed, they are pirates. So they are probably too stupid to realize that getting in the way of a Sith would be a terrible idea."

She looked around, looking bored.

"Then again, they look settled in. Either they're on someone's payroll, or they've been smart enough *not* to interfere with Imperial business overly much."

[Dapper Dog]

A thick human with more tattoos than hair hopped off a box and said in Huttese, “Hey now, welcome to Nova Station, as part of the welcoming committee we have the pleasure of offering you the deal of your life. Dock Insurance, just in case anything bad happens we can guarantee that your ship will be just fine. Two hundred creds and I will even throw in a tour guide.”

“It’s a limited time offer.”

While they had been docking and getting out, Shaisha had checked some helpful notes from some of her allies. They were used to covert operations, after all, and it came in handy.

While the station was controlled by the Nova Blades this group was probably a local gang under some boss and odds were good that the leadership was not far to keep these goons in line. She could see further into the station what looked like some kind of casino called the Dancing Bantha, with an obscured neon holo-sign.

[Lucinia Malveaux]

Lucinia stepped forward, her eyes narrowing. Dark Side energy seemed to roil almost tangibly around her.

"Are you really trying to shake us down? Us? Look at us. Look at him." She gestured to the powerful Jo'ren, before stepping forward. Her head tilted just a little downward, her pale green eyes growing noticeably darker. "Look at me." Her voice was deep, almost a growl.

She tilted her head up. "Reconsider, before you make the worst, and last, decision of your lives. And your friends lives." She added, somewhat airily. "We don't want them getting ideas either, after all."

"Ah, you must be the lackeys of someone too cowardly to show themselves directly," she said, though more to point out to the others what she figured out.

"There's a casino not too far ahead up there. The Dancing Bantha...? Perhaps these men will tell us who their leader is?"
