[Day 3 - LM] Nova Station

[Lord Tenebrous]

Shaisha stashed away the credits, and sized up the twi'lek. Jo'ren did seem to have interesting connections.

"Mandalorians are like an explosive hydro-wrench in plans..." she commented quietly. "Anyway, your call, Jo'ren." It was his contact, and his show.

[Dapper Dog]

“Well if we are going to see the boss we need an angle… I will leave that to you but I do know where to go at least. This way,” he said looking back at the casino.

“Poor girl, she owed me credits but I guess that debt is settled.”

[Lucinia Malveaux]

"I'm sure we'll figure something out." Lucinia said with airy unconcern, waving a casual hand.

Giving each of her companions a curious look, she followed Kalen.

[Lord Tenebrous]

"The safer approach would be to try to strike a deal for access to what you seek," Shaisha suggested as Kalen led the way. "If just paying creds could work that'd be fine... hopefully it will be worth it. We could intimidate the cooperation too... or just merely fake that we're allies of their patron?"

[Lord Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren listened to them all and nodded slowly as his mind worked away at the problem. "Yeah. An angle. I kinda like the idea of pretending we're with Hoshi, but we can save that card if we need it. I think I've got a solution. Or at least I can offer something a pirate might consider worth making a deal for. Weapons. Untraceable weapons."

He looked at Kalen. "What do you think old friend?"

[Dapper Dog]

Kalen agreed with that as much as hew knew who Darth Hoshi which was only vaguely, she sounded Sith though. He lead them through crowded streets past barking merchants hawking everything and anything towards a tower that was probably a central control center for the station. The lay out as basically lots of walkways layered on top of each other in a haphazard fashion to form layers of streets and buildings. Some buildings were retrofitted and other built completely in the space inside the station.

It was chaotic but it seemed to work. The closer they get to this tower structure the more they felt like they were being atched from the shadows and could hear faint whispers in their ears.

Kalen said, “I am not sure why but ever since those new foks showed up this place has gotten… weird.”

[Xyll Vanth]

Xyll was a bulwark of discipline; entirely unafraid to the point where her confidence was rubbing off on the rest of them.

Jo'ren was still a bit freaked out from the encounter with the Emperor, although he put on a brave face for the others. "Apparently the Nova Blades have guests."

"Yeah real scary types... like Sith but with masks and just a creepy vibe," he said as they approached the tower.

"So here is where we part ways, I am not going in there... buddy. You need me, we'll be at the port. My gut tells me, it might be time to leave Imperial space," Kalen replied.

[Lord Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren looked at the other Sith. That described one group of people.

"Okay old pal. That's fair. I'll call you if we need an assist on the way out. Good to see you." He clapped him on the shoulder and moved to approach the tower.

[Lucinia Malveaux]

"Perhaps that glass of wine will have to be some other day, then." Lucinia teased with a smile.

But that took her attention only for a moment. Lucinia breathed in deeply, her eyes alight. "Can you feel it?" She asked, her voice throbbing with excitement. "Someone up ahead has power. How intriguing."

Xyll shrugged. "Is this going to be a problem? Either they give us what we want, or we kill them and take it anyway."

Shaisha breathed deeply. She had a bad feeling about this, and the vision of them fleeing something seemed likely.

"We'll see..."

[Dapper Dog]

The interior is pirate posh with a random assemblage of treasures and artworks pillaged from a hundred worlds have been assembled with various Nova Blade thugs and marauders watching the group make their way towards the source of power.

Standing under a crouched humanoid statue of aurum are six figures, well seven but the seven seems inconsequential even with his deliciously large hat.

The Six figures turn to the approaching Sith. One spoke with a firm female voice behind her mask, “You stand before the Dread Masters, show proper obeisance and homage.”

[Lucinia Malveaux]

Lucinia's eyes widened. This was... unexpected, to say the least.

"My lords." With her dress currently in travel mode, a curtsy would look weird. Lucinia bowed. "How may we serve you." It grated her that they might be here to snatch their prize, but in the Empire the strong did what they wanted, and she felt that she could not match their strength.

Yet.

[Lord Tenebrous]

And Shaisha saw now what she had a bad feeling about. And the vision made sense. Creepy Sith with mask, indeed.

At least none of them seemed affected by their aura of fear. Yet.

"Dread Masters," she too bowed, her gaze dropping lower to not look too directly at them. This could mean that they were interfering with a different Sith Lord than they thought, as Hofu was said to be one of their students, rather than thinking the ones here were under command of Hoshi.

Perhaps they could work with that...

[Xyll Vanth]

Seeing her companions bow irked Xyll. Were they truly so easily cowed? What respect could be gained by so quick a submission? Even to those of great power? Still, great power these beings must have, if the others showed such deference. Perhaps there would be wisdom in showing a little defererence?

She placed a fist to her chest, and made a light bow of the head. Much lighter than that of the others, to be sure.

"Dread Masters," she repeated the title, "Before you stands the Emperor's Witness... and others. We were not expecting your presence here."

[Dapper Dog]

“Few expect the Dread… Masters,” another said with a soft male voice.

A third spoke, “You have come here seeking something, we can feel the desire through the Force, make your request known to us.”

[Lucinia Malveaux]

"Rakatan artifacts." Lucinia said. "Both general and specific."
