Yep, unless you activated a Force Power like Sense before combat or for a scene.

That would count for both scene then and cost 4 strain if you want to carry it over.
And can't recover strain at the end.

I mean if she wants to try and shoot him go for it, Adversary 3 with 2 Ranged Defense. Going to assume she is at Long range.
