Ziost - Crown of the Sith Empire

Jo'ren took some time out to train diligently with his new weapon. He was at the top of his game now, but that did not mean there was nothing left to learn. The weapon spun easily in his hand. It was not the double-bladed weapon of his past though, just a single beam of clean death.

He waited for Draahg's arrival without really noting the passage of time.

The younger Sith arrived promptly and said, “Lord Rath, how can I be of service?”

"Ah Draahg, come in." He waved for the other Sith to approach and closed down his blade with a fwoosh.

"I wanted to check on your progress. And it's been a... challenging week. We can discuss that if you wish."

“I have meditated and trained, I did not have any issue during the incident with Darth Malgus, I attended Darth Vengean,” he said in response following.

"Good. I've been training too. Gained some new insights. Like how to kill a monolith." He looked Draahg up and down. "What do you need?"

"You have given me much guidance and much to consider in improving my skills, my Lord, to impose further would be foolish," he said.

Draahg received a polite smile and a nod. "I understand that sentiment Draahg. As long as you aren't lacking anything that would help in carrying out our Master's orders."

He walked over to one of the large windows that looked out over the city. "You were going to tell me about your connection to the force."

Draahg joined him and said, “My connection to the Force is deep and focused, I feel it in my skin and bones. I can feel it move through me; it sustains me. I am not sure if that is an apt description for you, my Lord.”

“Is that what you are asking for?”

Jo'ren wobbled a hand. "Sort of. That's an interesting description though. Not what I was expecting."

He stroked his spurs and reassessed the man. "What does it allow you do? Does it guide your actions? Enhance your abilities? Show you the future? Protect you from harm?"

“I suppose it protects me from harm, it can sustain me and inure me to injuries that others would find debilitating,” he said in reply.

“Though that is only speculation based on prior harrowing incidents.”

"Ah, I see. Interesting."

Seeming satisfied by the answer Lord Rath continued. "I wasn't trying to pry into your secrets Draahg. We all have them. We're entitled to them. For me the force enhances my perceptions. It allows me to sense attacks a moment before they happen, or to predict where to strike for maximum effect. Perhaps I could teach you?"

"I would be willing to learn, my Lord," he offered in response.

"Very well. Then I'll teach you."
