No Regrets [Belle Epoque, Pre-game]

Jaheem nodded "I am Lord Jaheem Abasi, I had not expected to see such esteemed company here tonight. It seems my attendant failed to give me as many details as were available." He said moving into said free space between the two rather elegantly dressed women.

[Mahr]

Dino eyes the bottle that Mahr uncorked. If it works on him...

"Pour me some of that as well." He pushes out his glass, letting up a set of fumes that seems resplendent of kerosene and bantha piss.

The Trandoshan catches the eye of Lord Bellious, and he offers a nod of acknowledgement.

Mahr poured generously and took a swing himself before returning his attention to the gathering

''WHO DO YOU THINK THEY ARE?''

Zash finished her drink and gestured for another and said, “Lord Jaheem, a pleasure.”

She followed the gaze to where the two alien thugs were conversing and added, “Expecting trouble?”

[Rumun Gol]

And a third tall figure arrived at the recital, although at first glance it was not clear if it was a very tall human or not, since its robes and a hood covered most of its body.

The mysterious figure first looked for a drink and then waited around, listening to the recital, all while observing the situation that was happening around.

The figure noticed several siths talking to each other, but for now, most of his attention was about the trandoshan and the massassi.

''WHO DO YOU THINK THEY ARE?''

Dino waits for Mahr to drink, and then takes a sniff off the offered beverage before taking a long swig

Less burn...doesn't choke me...better flavor, but it's missing that jet fuel kick.

. Dino keeps his voice low, "People who could order to have us killed with a snap of their fingers. Of course, we'd probably have fun snapping their fingers, eh?"

A figure steps in with a hood, immediately diverting Dino's attention. Everyone else was dressed to impress, and while most seemed to choose something fashionable, this one...was trying something different. Instincts buzzed at something different.

The tall figure noticed that, at least, the trandoshan was looking towards his direction and decided to approach the alien pair.

'' It is a rare thing to see the likes of you among the high and nobles...'' The figure said with a raspy deep voice. '' Well i should say the likes of us...'' He took off his hood, revealing his features.

It was a duro, a blue one.

'' Rumun Gol is my name.'' He said to them.

[Mahr]

. Dino keeps his voice low, "People who could order to have us killed with a snap of their fingers. Of course, we'd probably have fun snapping their fingers, eh?"

Mahr's face drew a savage and voracious grin

''YES, YES WE WOULD''

Then another figure entered the scene, covered in robes as most of edgy types sithlings were prone to do.

The tall figure noticed that, at least, the trandoshan was looking towards his direction and decided to approach the alien pair.

'' It is a rare thing to see the likes of you among the high and nobles...'' The figure said with a raspy deep voice. '' Well i should say the likes of us...'' He took off his hood, revealing his features.

It was a duro, a blue one.

'' Rumun Gol is my name.'' He said to them.

''I CARE NOT FOR THE HIGH AND NOBLE, RUMUN OF GOL.'' the massassi inspected the duro to see if he had any concealed weapon beneath that vestment of his. Few in this society had the decency to carry their armament in the open.

'' Indeed, one should not give to much attention or care about such thing, in that i concur with you.'' The duro gave a nod and a smile to the massassi. '' So a massassi and a trandoshan on Ziost. That it is certainly not very common, even in this part of the galaxy. But travelling can bring us to very strange and wonderful places, i guess.''

''For example, I once visited your home-system of Yavin IV, and even fought against some of the Yubashi in favour of her Grace, your Queen'' He commented to the massassi.

'' Unfortunately, i have not visited Trandosha, but i have dealt with your people several times during time in the Outer Rim.'' He then commented to the trandoshan. ''Both as friends and as foes.'' He smiled.

Just as Razzya was monitoring the ebb and flow on the floor, taking notice of Rumun's appearance, Moyr remained focused on the conversation among the Sith.

"What you lack in the quality of attendants you are making up with personal charm, Lord Abasi. I am Lord Bellious. What is your choice of drink tonight? As you may see, the ladies don't take it light." She rattled the rocks and indulged in her whisky.

"No more than usual." She replied to Zash. "To desire and turn violent to acquire the object of it is a natural proclivity of all the breathes and has some muscles."

[Dapper Dog]

“Violence is a poor tool… useful but once it has begun it usually denies all other paths to victory. I am just here to drink, do not push me to violence, I have no mood to constrain myself and blood and death would make a great distraction,” she said taking another hard drink.

She gestured for another and said with a smile, “I really just came out to have a good time and I am feeling so attacked right now. It’s not like you lost an arm or anything.”

'' Unfortunately, i have not visited Trandosha, but i have dealt with your people several times during time in the Outer Rim.'' He then commented to the trandoshan. ''Both as friends and as foes.'' He smiled.

"Then you likely know my people better than myself." Dino seems nonplussed at the Duros' attempts at diplomacy.

I wonder how easily I could snap his neck... The thought is an idle one and Dino continues on.

"I was aquired by The Instructor many cycles ago. I have been here for long enough to understand how little I know."

[Rumun Gol]

'' Fascinating, so you are a former slave or still are one?'' Rumun was genuinely interested in the trandoshan story. '' I imagine your story is far more interesting that mine, to be honest. '' The duro shrugs. '' My freedom was earned is a somewhat boring way.''

[Lord Bellious]

"You couldn't care less about my losses irrespective of their personal gravity." Moyr felt her anger rise but boxed it for later, She was subliminally compelled to hug her stomach that had been run through with a lightsabre by Zash's attack dog, but she resisted. She just shuffled her position a bit to hide discomfort and took a sip. "But I'll take your piece of wisdom when it's offered. It's not like I haven't put your enlightened thoughts to good use before. Of all things, your intellect and scholarship are to be admired."

Moyr smiled faintly, easing into decorum.

"Obviously, I cannot be held accountable for every violent instinct in the room, but as far as I and mine are concerned, you can enjoy full civility tonight and as much alcohol as you like."

Jaheem sighed inwardly, he had certainly been drawn into the middle of some kind of personal issue that he had no intention of commenting on. Instead he nodded thanks to Bellious for the compliment and ordered a double of Corellian "hard seems to be in order for this evening." He said as he finished the first in one go and motioned for a second. He wasnt a heavy drinker but this evening was proving it may be taxing.

''YOU SERVED THE QUEEN? GOOD''

Those were the few words he uttered to the Duro before conversation turned to slavery, much to his displeasure

''YOU ARE SITH'' he said with a sneer ''SITH STORIES ARE ALWAYS BORING''

“I know,” Zash said as she took a drink.

“Of course it’s best you don’t appear too smart, males of most species are easily intimidated and fearful when they realize possessing a magic rod between their legs does not magically make them the smartest creatures in the room.”

“Speaking of magical rods, Lord Abasi I am not sure I have had the pleasure to stroke your ego… and I assure you I would remember one as handsome and intense as you appear.”

[Rumun Gol]

'' Ha! Well i'm afraid that you are correct in both of your comments.'' Rumun nodded. '' Sith stories are usually boring. So similar between each other, with backstabbing and scheming. And yes, i am a sith, but that does not mean much, to me at least. I just so happen to have some sort of meager talent in the force and that makes me part of the sith order. '' the duro adds.

'' That's why i'm not usually interested in them. I prefer to know about how others deal with their problems. Looking at you, i assume that you two are great warriors, right? Far more interesting than someone like me, that was only a slave-clerk before becoming a sith.'' He admitted.

[Jaheem Abasi]

“Speaking of magical rods, Lord Abasi I am not sure I have had the pleasure to stroke your ego… and I assure you I would remember one as handsome and intense as you appear.”

Jaheem smiles as he starts drinking from his second drink a bit more slowly "No Darth Zash I don't expect you have, though both you ladies seem to be wasting no time in reconciling that. I'm afraid my work tends to keep me quite busy, I don't often make social appearances."

“Now that’s a shame, surely someone as fierce as you would be welcome at any home,” she said sweetly.

“More for me to enjoy then.”

[Lord Bellious]

"A man with priorities then." Moyr commented, securing a refill as a way not to impose on the conversation too much. If Zash wanted more than a flirt out of the situation, she would not stand in the way.
