Let's Misbehave [D2 LE, Wild Ride, OPEN]

[Lucinia Malveaux]

"Well it runs the gambit of technology and science for the most part. Often enough I'm testing a new theory of something or the other." He sipped his wine.

"Earlier today I was working on a new configuration of a blasters focusing lens. I though if I can change the angles in which the blaster focuses energies I could produce a narrower faster firing beam."

"Mmm. Practical applications, then." Another tiny sip of her wine.

Lucinia's lips quirked. "My experience with blasters is limited, except in that I was shot by one earlier today." She shook her head, setting her blonde hair swirling about. "Do you work for a particular research group? Or is this all private? Do you do custom work?"

[Alister Dravvad]

"Oh my." He raised an eyebrow at that. "I hope you're okay. It wasn't in the scuffle earleir today was it?" She hadn't seemed injured either, but then modern medical technology was impressive.

"Private, and I do a lot of custom work of one sort or another. I was working on somethign for Lord Tenebrous this very day." He explained, glancing to the woman surronded by teenage girls. "it can keep me rather busy depending on the number of projects I have going."

[Dayana Valthren]

Sinea glanced at the girls. "Of course. They're teenagers." She stepped even closer to Dayana, a sweet, cloying scent surrounding the pureblood lady. "How much did you see of your future when you were so young?" She was practically whispering, her face was mere inches away.

"Teenagers often believe they know everything." Dayana lifted her chin, a confident smirk on her lips even as Sinea leaned in. "I used to see much more than I saw now," she admitted, "The talent was there, though never nurtured. I focus more now on what is in front of me."

[Shelzais Sek]

"Oh corporate types are always fun.....just in different ways. If past ones haven't learn how to enjoy a real party well........"
She shrugs widely, nearly slapping a passing waiter-bot
"I suppose I'll have to make up for the slack....and you're right about the scavenging although-"
She makes her eyes very big
"In a room full of such great and powerful sith does that mean the little corporate rep it the prey?"

"Somehow... I don't think so." Shelzais laughed and scooped a full glass of something purple off the tray B9-D4 was just that moment trundling past. Despite the loose-limbed, slightly boneless quality of her movements over the past several minutes--she was obviously well into an altered state for the night--she didn't spill a drop. "It simply means you need to be mindful of your place in the food chain, my dear Jan. Don't slip down. Take what's yours." She handed over the drink to Jan with a flourish. "I expect you're twice the predator of some around here."

She wiggles a bejeweled brow ridge at Remmington. "Surely you need something too, Mr... Mr. T. Unless the T is for Teetotaler." She giggles at her own... well, it was almost a joke.

[Jan Melmoar]

"Everyone has to start somewhere. Remmington Thalalas by the way." He offers his hand in greeting to the new party girl.

A vigorous shake
"A pleasure to meet you Lord Thalas. I'm Jan....Jan-"
Her dress flashes up 'MELMOAR'
"The Czerka Corp Rep."

"Somehow... I don't think so." Shelzais laughed and scooped a full glass of something purple off the tray B9-D4 was just that moment trundling past. Despite the loose-limbed, slightly boneless quality of her movements over the past several minutes--she was obviously well into an altered state for the night--she didn't spill a drop. "Twice the predator? Oh that's high praise indeed......although okay that guy with the vacuum droid probably isn't real competition."
She swirls the purple liquid around for a moment before slowly raising the glass and downing half of it.

"Takes what's mine? But then I have to work out what is mine, all without slipping down the food chain and being eaten."

Shrugging down quaffing the rest of the drink in one go......then blinking blearily for a few moments.
"Where does that put you on the food chain dear? Hunted...Hunter? A bit of both?"

[Shelzais Sek]

"How do you work out what's yours...? Decide what you want, then do your best to take it. That's what they teach little Sith in Sith school, you know." Shel snagged another drink for herself, seemingly at random; it was a dark reddish color and made her wrinkle her nose a bit, which did not, however, stop her from quaffing a healthy amount.

"As for me? I'm whichever I choose, when I choose. In theory, anyway." She grinned, leaning closer. "It's my party, after all."

[Jan Melmoar]

Just then one of the earlier concoctions hits and Jan's right pupil dilates like crazy while her left expands
"....Well this is new, I think I'm tasting colour."
Pause
"It's a good thing red and black tastes nice or Ziost would be a disaster."

Focusing the mismatched eyes on Shelzais....with some difficulty.
"So if I decided I wanted to take you.....I mean, hypothetically speaking...I'm hoping I wouldn't have to carry you anywhere because this body is definitely conditioned for....uh....endurance? Not strength."

Lucinia sniffed. "If you can call it that. I received a communication that someone was about to be shot. I went out, confronted the shooter, and they shot me instead. It was hardly what I'd call a satisfactory outcome.

At the mention of Lord Tenebrous, Lucinia looked over, one eyebrow going up. "Oh?" She looked back to Alister. "Are you a confidant of Lord Tenebrous, then?"

[Alister Dravvad]

Alister wasn't quite sure how she could expect something different to happen. When confronted people with guns tended to shoot people, especially if they knew the connsequences of surrendering. Death if they were lucky, painful torture then death if less so. "I see, That's quite unfortunate."

"I'd say we have a working relationship." Alister explained. "Most of our business is done through our aides. Though we've chatted a time or two." Best to be honest here.

"I see. So, not too close." Lucinia idly toyed with the stem of her glass. For a few moments, she studied Alister, smiling, eyes narrowed.

"And what do you think of her political ambitions? Although a seat on the Dark Council is more than political, of course."

[Dayana Valthren]

"OH? And do you like what you see in front of you?" She asked back with her own smirk, and moved even closer, touching Dayana's shoulders lightly. "You know...I am a seer AND a teacher. Perhaps I can help you recover that talent? With some...private education?"

"'See' might be a misnomer, but otherwise, I'd say so," Dayana said with a joking tone. It was her way of not giving in too much to the pureblood in front of her. "Private education? I wonder how much this would cost."

[Alister Dravvad]

"I see. So, not too close." Lucinia idly toyed with the stem of her glass. For a few moments, she studied Alister, smiling, eyes narrowed.

"And what do you think of her political ambitions? Although a seat on the Dark Council is more than political, of course."

Sith, even when they were happy, most of them still wanted to carve out your spleen. Not that this one was probably ever really happy.

"Well, its impressive ambition in one so young." He murmured after a moment. "I'd give her a good chance at succeeding as well. She's always come off to me as highly skilled and efficient."

Smirking, she added, "Strength is overrated. This planet is full of hulks who think the planetary axis rotates according to their personal gravity, and most of them are useless... anyway, I can move under my own power. If you'd care for a tour of the boat?"

"'See' might be a misnomer, but otherwise, I'd say so," Dayana said with a joking tone. It was her way of not giving in too much to the pureblood in front of her. "Private education? I wonder how much this would cost."

Sinea let out a low, throaty laugh. "Well, I am sure we can both agree in fair payment." She stepped even closer, now whispering. "Well then... we'll just have to 'see' together what we can do about this."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles along with Shelzais' jokes or attempts at humour anyways. "Well what I need right now is a drink. As for what may arise going into the night... I like to see where things go." He retrieves a glass and raises a cheer before taking a sip.

"Nice to meet you lady Melmoar. Or do you prefer Jan? I met some Czerka employees before. They were certainly no where near as fun as you." He comments honestly. It probably didn't help that the last time he encountered Czerka wasn't the best of circumstances.

“You should give me their names, I pride myself on customer service, like with Lord Sek here.

"The wrong side of the tracks? Why, no wonder I like you," Shel purred. "And believe me, Ziost is a disaster. Fortunately, it needn't be an unremitting one."

“Well if it allows a disaster to remit then I feel compelled to accept your kind offer. It’s wonderful to be around such... sensible personal gravity.”

She extends an arm

"My apologies Jan. It has been a few years now since I ran into them so I do not recall their names. It was just a chance meeting on Nar Shaddaa." Remmington comments.

Sith, even when they were happy, most of them still wanted to carve out your spleen. Not that this one was probably ever really happy.

Lucinia gave a slow nod. "That would be my assessment as well."

One more slow sip of her wine. "Well, Alister, thank you for the wine. Perhaps we'll speak again sometime."

"I would enjoy that, Lucinia." He offered with a easy smile, before offering her a polite dip of his head.

"Thank you for four time, I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening."
