Ziost - Crown of the Sith Empire

Upon finishing her breakfast with Bur, and a most informational breakfast it was, Kristal made a visit to her next location. Having Weaver wait out of site but ready, she approached the home of Lord Grathan's supposed man directly. Though, the question now was, who really had Mr. Gil in their pocket?

She is allowed up to his penthouse.

Signalling Weaver Kristal went up to the penthouse, waiting and expecting to see the man in question.

“I swear my Lord if I did not know you were getting married on the morrow I would think you are stalking me. I am the one that you let get away,” Cipher Three said as the door slid open.

He was getting dressed in a sharp suit and said, “Malam Gil is indisposed at the moment. You can come in, wine? Water? I have a fine Onderon whiskey… five hundred credits a bottle.”

"With your aptitude for your work I believe it is most likely that it is you who follows me," she replied, stepping further into the room.

"I would have sent an invitation had you a stable address," she mused, a slight smirk, "but I am certain that such trivialities would not phase you."

"Whiskey," she added in quickly, "if we've the time."

“I have some time, Imperial intelligence is hunting me and the noose should tighten sooner or later… which I might add is highly inconvenient as my operation is not complete,” he said pouring whiskey.

“I already have an invitation, I took the liberty of procuring one. Should I come as Malam Gil or this ghastly named Valkis Mur?”

"Malam Gil sounds a whelp, and the other is as you said, come as you like," she said finding herself a seat and claiming it as her right.

"I would ask why it is that you are being hunted but I fear my time with spies has given me far too much insight to ask such a ridiculous question. However, I would ask eme hat has happened to Malam Gil before I have had my chance at questioning him."

“I mean Malam Gil has my looks and charm… and a great deal of wealth but he does not have the identity of the Eagle. What he does have is something much more troubling, I believe someone on the Dark Council is backing the Eagle. I don’t have hard evidence, but there are signs and I trust my washboard gut,” he said pouring himself a glass and then bring them both over.

“So are you here to arrest Malam or just talk? Do Sith arrest people?”

"I do not believe it is beyond my grasp," she accepted the drink and held it in her true hand. "However I do not believe I have ever arrested anyone, not yet. Though I have a released a man, given him a career with potential for advsncement. I do believe that marks me differently."

"As it stands," she took a drink, "if he is guilty he will see the inside of a cell if he does not resist. I am tracking some trouble for Lord Grathan, it appears that Malam Gil may be serving another Master and there is some belief that this Master is Dart Baras."

“Oh Grathan… Darth Baras has his hooks in that operation but it’s not through Malam. Malam is actually keeping that business afloat, the problem is that some of the shipments are being moved to an undisclosed location and then reclassified as delivered to Imperial Reserves. They are not going to Imperial Reserves, I checked,” he replied.

"Was there anything else you discovered while you were performing that check into the destination of our missing shipments?" she asked, shifting her position in the seat to a comfortable one.

“I don’t have enough data yet to really make any more inferences,” he said with a heavy sigh.

He stood and adjusted his tie and then found his jacket.

"I would appreciate any further information on it you discover, and in exchange," she says as she finishes the glass and sees it to the nearest spot so it is out of her hand.

"If there is anything I might do to aid in rooting out this Darth who would deign to support a faction which seeks to destabilize the Empire you may be certain you may count on my assistance. I am certain I do not have to remind you of which strengths I may use to aid this endeavor."

His voice a bit deeper now he responded, “I will be in touch, time for Malam Gil to do what he does best… well almost best. When I discover the source of the plot you will be first on my list.”

"I will be expecting your call, Cipher," she replied, observing the new look but unphased, at least perceptiby, by the transition.

“I know,” he said confidently.

“Shall I see you out, my Lord?”

Kristal nodded, rose, and proceeded to follow Cipher-3 to the exit.

"Till we inevitably meet again," she said.
