Collecting herself, Weaver and Wedge, Kristal made her way toward the factory that was run by a one Malam Gil. Intent upon finding the lay of the land. Approaching the factory in Varas point the woman stretched and worked out the stress of last nights exertions, sleep did well but it still felt a bit tight this early in the morning. Exercise would have been a nicer start than talking, but the Empire doesn't wait.

The industrial center covered several square kilometers and belched out thick plumes of smoke as the factory churned out weapons of war and other industrial materials for use across the Empire.

The shift supervisor meets with the Sith in the admin building and seems more inclined to brag and give them a sales pitch than anything about an investigation.

"You understand that you deal with a lord of the Sith, a Champion of Marr," she said harshly, "do not test me further with these attempts at seeking credits for work."

Kristal occupied a central place in the room, crossing her arms over her chest. Wedge was instructed to stay nearby but it was only Weaver that she had accompany her into the room, a less than glorious position to some but Kristal wanted someone close that she could trust.

"Well what can we do for you, Champion of Marr?" he said deferentially.

"Plainly, there has been a problem with this factory. Shipments are rerouted when they should not be, to where they should not be, and I would know where it is they are truly going and whom is sending them. You will aid me in discovering the answers to this question," she said succinctly.

They nod and the shift manager said, “Well my Lord we have our records here and as far as I can see all of our shipments were delivered as requested. We utilize the same logistical channels every time, military transport through the Imperial Navy.”

"Answer me this then," she said, approaching and reviewing the logs herself, "and if someone were to tamper with this system, so that a shipment may be diverted elsewhere once it has left this facility, for example, how would that be done?"

“Our shipments are turned over to Captain Balmung’s care and his fleets manage shipments from this system to elsewhere. He is a man of honor though in service to Darth Malgus, surely the corruption must be in the delivery, the outer regions are lawless,” he said confidently.

"From where does Captain Balmung receive the shipments, here?" she said, glancing to indicate the facility at large.

“They should go to outer region forces and colonies, Darth Marr or Darth Vengean on occasion, sometimes Darth Hoshi, and a variety of fleets on maneuvers,” the manager said confidently.

“We don’t get much in the ways of confirmation once we deliver it to Captain Balmung, we serve and we manufacture.”

"Then Captain Balmung shall be my next visit. Where is it that I may find this man?" she asked.

"I believe his command ship is in orbit, my lord," he said honestly.

"Thank you, you have been most helpful," she said, moving toward the exit of the room. "There may be cause for me to return, if I do not find that which I am looking for, but if this is our last visit you will know the Empire thanks you for your assistance today."
