The oceans of Ziost are in general cold vast places with frozen seas in the north and southern poles. The equatorial regions are the warmest and still pretty dangerous with cold temperatures and dangerous sea life make traversing underwater a dangerous affair for anyone without proper gear or support.

Storms are quite common on the oceans as well.
