[Day 2, EE] Eternal Questions (Xal's Lab)

[Xal Kimlya]

GR8-1 had acquired food and refreshments, per Xal's request. It wasn't clear what this meeting was or who was coming, but it was better to over prepare than to disappoint Darth Zash.

With everything ready, Xal waited, hoping this would largely involve labwork.

[Dapper Dog]

Zash arrived fashionably late, "Dear Xal, thank you for receiving me this evening."

[Xal Kimlya]

"Of course. It is a delight to have you here." he smiled. "Would care for some wine?"

[Raela Ausar]

Raela arrived less fashionably late, and more having gotten turned around a little bit getting there. She did arrive shortly after Zash, however. She give a bow to her Master and nodded to Xal. "Hello... I'm Raela Ausar. You must be 'Xal' that my Master spoke of. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Xal Kimlya. The pleasure is mine." he smiled to her as well. "Welcome."

[Dapper Dog]

“So just to get right to it, we are going to discover and perfect the truth of the Emperor’s Immortality and through doing so will become ourselves undying Sith with all the time in the universe to master the Dark Side,” she said happily.

[Xal Kimlya]

Xal nodded. "My lab is ready, if you'd like to share your data."

[Raela Ausar]

"Interesting," Raela said, resting her hand on her chin.

[Dapper Dog]

Zash hands Xal a data card and said, "It will not be easy, and could be impossible but I wish to see how impossible."

[Xal Kimlya]

He led them to the lab, taking the datacard and bringing its contents up on a large monitor.

"I never asked. Which world was it?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Nathema, but you won’t find it on any chart… and not even I know where it is. I checked and it has been removed specifically from all records,” she responded.

[Xal Kimlya]

"That makes sense." He nodded. "So, what information do we have?"

He began looking over the data.

[Raela Ausar]

Raela looked over his shoulder at the large screen analyzing the data as it went by, making a few notes. Given what Ilar had seen, she wasn't sure she wanted to become a walking black hole in the Force, no matter how powerful it would make her... But it might reveal a weakness in the extant one.

"No way to get any idea on location, or just not on the charts?"

Raela squinted at the data. "Um... Wait, hold on a second..." She moved to another console and brought up a star chart. "I might be..."

She finds a blank spot but given gravitational effects and drift it should be right there... assuming she is correct.

[Raela Ausar]

She turned in her seat toward Zash. "Master... I think I found it." She brought up a reticle on the coordinates where it should be. "Not on the charts, but everything else says there's a planet there."

[Xal Kimlya]

"Impressive..." Xal looked at the chart, studying the surounding region.

[Dapper Dog]

“Clever, but besides the point. What we need to do is find how this ritual worked on such a large scale and why and see if there are ways to improve on it for a way to sieze immortality without such a massive sacrifice. It will require a deep understanding of ritual, science, and Sith alchemy,” she said to the group.

[Xal Kimlya]

"How many details do we have regarding the ritual?" he asked, as he continued to study the data.
