The trio - not that Tyr thought of it that way, because he didn’t think of GR8-1 as a person - returned from the massassi camp as the morning was waning into afternoon. Tyr seemed grumpy, but that was modus operandi for the wolf-man, “I’m hungry, are you hungry? he complained to Xal.

"Yes." he nodded. "An early lunch would be nice."

"Your place? I'm sick of dealing with people I'm not allowed to stab," Tyr's hand twitched near his lightsaber.

"Certainly." he agreed. "I prefer it regardless, but the masses seem restless and agitated today."

"Some skrakkshit party going on tonight," Tyr growled, suddenly angry, eyes and teeth flashing, suddenly dangerous. "I have half a mind to go myself and give those so-called nobles a piece of mind," saliva gathered, a sticky strand of the clear, foaming fluid ran down the side of a fang and hung, a trembling droplet that shivered before falling, landing on his lower lip.

"You know they wouldn't listen."

Tyr breathed heavily, a growl rumbling in his chest, a hand hovered near the lightsaber on his belt and it grasped and flexed, ready, wanting to snatch that weapon up and bring it to bear. But finally, “I know.”

"A better time to strike will come." he suggested.

Tyr growled and made an impatient shooing gesture, “forget it, let’s eat,”

"Of course."

Inside the apartment, Xal egan's preparing lunch. He didn't have much protein on hand, but there was some spiced bantha meat. Fried sbam was simple enough.

While Xal was cooking, Tyr’s datapad chimed and he studied the device for a moment. “Take a look at this,” he said when the arkanian served lunch, showing him the image of the aspirant, “this just appeared on the holonet, could have something to do with the Eagle.”

"The Eagle? He's been leaving messages of some sort?"

"All over the place," Tyr answered, "most of them don't go anywhere."

"GR8-1 could likely help with this." Xal suggested. "I'll be happy to assist, but it isn't my field."

"Sure," Tyr shrugged and pushed the datapad in the direction of the droid, turning his attention to the food, "did you shop specially for me, or am I stealing your dinner?"

"I wanted to make sure we had something on hand, if you came to my rescue again." he shrugged.

Tyr looked awkward, "look, the Eagle is dangerous and indiscriminate," he muttered, trying very hard not to admit to himself (let alone anyone else) how worried he'd been when Xal didn't answer his comm. "It smells good, let me know how much I owe you, this can't be cheap."

"I wanted to." he shook his head. "You don't owe me. Maybe I just want more visitors these days."

Tyr considered that. Ziost, despite the hectic, crowded streets, was the loneliest place the shistavanen had ever visited. "I'll come visit you," he offered.

"I'd like that." he smiled. "I'd like to see your ship, too."
