She'd be running in all directions lately, even off-world, and it had been some days since she checked in with Paz and the others. They had help with directing her towards the Eagle's attacks a couple of days ago, and she had been so caught up in politics and other things. Until now. It seemed there was finally going to be a bit of respite.
Her attendant Hyuna followed along into the headquarter of Section IX.

The office they were using had many monitors up with live feeds or data feeds as the agents of Section IX did their work in tracking possible agents of the Eagle.

"What's the current situation these days?" she asked, taking off her gloves as she found a place to sit.
Hyuna began to file in her own reports in the meantime.

Paz responded, “Well with this Wyrm being outed we have been trying to track their movements, Fixer has been doing good work getting us a backdoor into Public Security to keep us apprised of their operations.”
“It’s been a complicated investigation.”

"Backdoor?" she raised an eyebrow.
"Is there a lack of cooperation between those working on this? It wouldn't surprise me, but I certainly hope people aren't cutting off or undermining the investigations simply because they're trying to score political points."
Shaisha rubbed her chin. "Who do you know of is involved in the investigation?"

"Military Intel, Imperial Intel, Public Security... but mostly they are frozen out, and us," he said in response.
"Officially, anyway... plus Darth Malgus."

"Malgus' interest in the investigation is interesting, but it seems to be going cross-faction so far from what I see - he doesn't care about allegiances and political divisions as long as it serves the purpose of rooting out the Eagle." He was of interest, but not of concern, at the moment at least in her mind.
"What do you mean frozen out?"

"Imperial intelligence seems to be taking the lead and they have snatched up any evidence that Public Security has found," he said.

She was clearly annoyed by this, but through sheer discipline did not lash out her anger infront of the others. It was bad form.
And as her sensible side said, it was not their fault.
"Very well. So it's departemental rivalry then, unless someone is actively preventing the right departments from working together. No matter, we'll continue to do the work needed, no matter how foolish the others are. Lucinia Malveux shared some information with me, after speaking with one Lt. Tyber Rook. There's an agent of the Eagle, going by the name of 'The Serpent' or 'The Dragon' - seems likely it's a Mandalorian from the sources there. Potentially troublesome truth after yesterday's events, as the Mandalorians currently on Ziost have all sorts of reasons now for turning against the Empire."
Shaisha paused. "And there was a mention of a Malam Gil being connected to this as well. A nobleman in Varas Point."

“The Wyrm,” he added offering her a small data brief on the Mandalorian and his recent movements. He has been gathering angry Mandalorians with alacrity and a recent acquisition of a great deal of explosives.
“Malam Gil… he was on Nar Shaddaa some years ago, I remember because he has a face that reeks of smugness… We can look into this man as well.”

"Mm... she looked over the data brief. "Let's hope it won't get too bad with the Mandalorians after one of their big names got executed yesterday."
"The name isn't familiar to me, so it's likely our paths never crossed. Some of the others might have though, so I'll check with others I know where at Nar Shaddaa at the same time, so we can approach the matter from different angles."

“Yeah, we have already seen quite a few Mandalorians leave Ziost, if that is the worst of it then I would be damn pleased. Many more are… turning to more criminal elements which isn’t a good for us. Your orders,” he finished.

She was silent for a few moments as she considered the situation. Or rather, situations. Her hands folded neatly together, with both index fingers resting against her chin as she thought.
"Stay focused on the threats of the Eagle. The Mandalorians will have to be a lower priority for the time being." She gave Paz a nod. "You've been doing a good job so far. And I'll see what I can do about improving the flow of communication with some of the other sectors involved - it's in all our interests that this matter be laid to rest."

"Sounds like old times," he responded.

"Indeed," she smirked a little, briefly thinking back to the Children of Revan-scenario.
"If there is nothing else, I'll go get myself ready for a raid against what is most likely one of the Eagle's top lieutenants. Will keep you appraised of the situation."

"Of course my Lord, happy hunting," he said.

"Thanks. Don't forget to get some sleep either when you get the chance, Paz," she remarked with some wit, knowing he seemed to be awake at all hours.
With that she rose - neither of them had time to be wasting these days - and departed.
