The archives are clean of data but after much digging she finds that the Emperor, or at least his Hands, were most likely responsible for the removal of data on the Exile.

Not what she had been hoping for. But not entirely unexpected either. Perhaps it was time she sought an audience with him then. Still, before that moment might come, she decided a little bit more information might be in order. Presumably, the archives, or somewhere nearby, would have facilities for the use of making holocalls...
...she had yet been unable to provide a proper offering from her memories... but time was running out and she was getting frustrated enough to just try and negotiate without it. Thus, she tried placing a holocall to Lord Savas, on Korriban.

Lord Savas was dressed in long dark robes and hood with an ebon mask. He leaned forward as if trying to better look at something and then said, “I do not know you, why have you bothered me at this early hour. You obviously know who I am, so I hope a reason for this intrusion is forthcoming.”

"I am Lord Nyx, Witness of the Emperor," she said.
Early hour he says. It's almost noon!
"I actually studied under you at the academy, oh about six months ago."
Of course, that was only briefly, and she had mostly ignored those lessons as they didn't teach her anything she hadn't already known. But then, at the time she had different concerns than she had now... and he had not been teaching at what she was assured was his full potential.
"And you were recommended to me by one of the Darths here on Ziost, as someone with a great deal of knowledge on our history. You see, I'm particularly interested in a particular figure, Darth Traya. It was suggested you might provide me with information on her I might not find elsewhere."

Lord Savas responded, "Your information seems correct."

"I am told she died on Malachor," she said, "I was hoping to narrow it down. To find some trace of whatever knowledge of her that remains in existence. Her spirit, writings, a holocron. It may be overly optimistic of me. Such things may be mere phantoms of my curiosity, but I wish to try nonetheless. Might I infer you could be of assistance?"

“She died on Malachor V,” he corrected.
“You could infer that I could be of assistance, but it is early here, and I do like my rest.” He grunted and then added, “Let me guess you seek some secret she knew to increase your paltry power in some silly power game with a rival.”
“I am going to need an interesting reason to get out of my bed on your behalf,” he finished tersely.

"It is not to increase my power. It's to *restore* my power," she said. "does that not interest you? That there's someone alive today who suffered the effects of a ritual it seems the Jedi have forgotten about?"

“The Jedi do lots of things that are of no interest to me, this being one of them. The Exile as far as I recall simply regained her sensitivity in time, there was no grand ritual or moment, it simply returned,” he said nonplussed.

He was as difficult as they said.
"That sounds too simple. Surely there must've been a trick to it. Some insight that was lost with the deaths of the Exile and Darth Traya."

“You could be right, but they are dead. Most dead stay dead, or they should,” he responded.
“Not every great figure recorded their ill thought out schemes for posterity.”

"True, but many did. Is it not worth the effort of finding out?"

"For you perhaps, but what do I gain from this except my growing lack of sleep," he replied.

"I may have access to lost history myself. Which I might be willing to compile and share with you."
She had *tried* several times to do so, of course... thus far without luck. But what was to prevent her from just trying again?
"Much of it deals with the finer details of the Great Sith War, and the holy crusade of the Krath. If you are interested?"

"I could be interested at least for my archives," he responded.
"If you provide something useful I could look into this matter, when I have time."

"Excellent, I will compile the information I have and send it to you when it is complete?"

"I hope that will not
tax your faculties," he said in a deadpan manner.
He ended the call.
