Ziost - Crown of the Sith Empire

Prepared for the day ahead, lightsaber to her belt, Kristal made her way for the common room of her personal Ship, the Vindicator. There she requested to be put through toward Lord Grathan directly.

Awaiting his answer she stood with arms crossed over her stomach.

A human in his middle age with balding pate answered and said, “My Lord, you have reached the residence of Lord Grathan, how may this humble worm assist you?”

"There is a message I would deliver to Lord Grathan, personally, from Darth Marr himself," she answered directly.

The servant moved off quickly and then Lord Grathan was staring at the screen, “Do you realize what time it is?”

His voice was strong but tired.

"O:6,34 in the morning, if I have disturbed your rest I apologize Lord Grathan," she said in a cool, apologetic tone. Prepared for her day as she was.

“Well I am up, what is it that Marr’s Champion wishes of me and be quick about it,” Grathan said gruffly as he adjusted to being awake.

"Ensuring that you are aware of Darth Marr's commitment to those he would consider allies. It was felt that, during time of duress, like your current difficulties with Darth Baras, that allies, like yourself, should be reminded of these commitments. So that it might bolster your resolve, or otherwise," she replied.

“Darth Baras is a bloody arse and the sooner someone removes his head from his shoulder the easier I will sleep at night. Or maybe not,” he said grumpily.

“Darth Marr is concerned for my person eh, well he bloody well should be, my factories keep his people well armed and supplied… it makes me bloody rich but also a target. If he is so concerned then maybe he can do something about a little problem I have noticed. Could be nothing, but we both know it ain’t so I will just come to it.”

He stroked his beard and said, “Internal security has had some incidents, a factory on Ziost has been falling behind and I suspect someone may be flipped and working with Baras, you solve my problem and that should go a long way to helping me out.”

Kristal nodded, crossing her arms upon the table in front of her, "A threat to the productivity of the factories that supply the front lines is a threat to the front lines themselves. You can be assured that I, a Champion of Marr, will be seeing to this problem of yours."

Grathan seemed pleased but grumpy, "Then see it done."

"Any additional information you have to the matter," she shifted back into her seat, "would best be directed to my ship through either me, or Harad. Anything further?"

"Speak to my manager out there, Malam Gil, slick and two clever for his own good," he said in reply.

"It shall be done," she finished, cutting off the Holo-call. Turning her chair about she spoke loudly so that the ships intercom would pick her voice up.

"Harad, make note of this to the strike team. I want them prepared to be on planet should the need arise."

Harad replied, "They are on standby my lord, that name sounds familiar my Lord."

"I believe there was a Malam Gil active on Nar Shaddaa during the summit."

"Active on Nar Shaddaa during the summit, doing what exactly?" she inquired, leaning further into her seat with a raised brow.

“Business as far as I could determine, just remember the name coming up a few times,” he said honestly.

“Believe he was a consultant at that time.”

"Leave our sectors on standby, I would know more about this man that I am to be dealing with but perhaps there are other, more discreet, avenues I might take to accomplish that goal," she replied.

"Perhaps Bur may know more," he said honestly though not happily.

"I had a similar thought, thank you Harad, your service is appreciated," she said. "Would you make him aware that I am seeking him in the common room? "

"I will but he isn't on the ship, my Lord," he responded.

"Says he is taking a holiday... a working holiday."
