Shit, there goes the neighborhood [D2, LE]

Xyll was in her apartment, thinking. Plotting. Dreading. Worrying. There was so much to consider! So much to be concerned about! It was almost overwhelming. So she decided to try and focus on a specific task. Lord Savas would certainly want something of value in exchange for the information she sought. And it just so happened that Xyll knew a great deal of obscure history that might be of interest to him.

But figuring out the proper format. Getting it all to line up. The disonnected threads made whole... it just... wasn't... happening!

Eventually she gave up, screaming in frustration and throwing her glass at the wall.

"Oh dear," the domestic droid sprung into action, "not again."

It reads more like a self insert fan-fic than a document of historical value.

"This won't do at all!" She yelled some more, and then slumped back into her chair. She would have to try again tomorrow, maybe.

After a few moments, she composed a message and sent it to Mira.

We need to talk. There is little time.

She arrived and waited for whatever was so important that it demanded her immediate attention.

She was let in by the droid and brought to the main chamber, where Xyll was looking out at the city. It seemed as if power was now restored again. But she could still feel that dread.

"Apprentice," she said without turning. "How does it feel to be a Sith, now that you've graduated?"

“It feels great… blah blah, what is the reason you called me here Master?” she said impatiently.

“Is it our time to rise and overthrow our enemies? You get the old one, I can handle the rest.”

Xyll chuckled. "All these months apart, I'd almost forgotten what your words were like."

Turning around, she looked at her apprentice. "Could you now? Have your skills advanced that far or are you just acting tough?" She waved a hand dismissively. "Never mind that. Tell me, did you feel it this evening? During the black-out."

"I felt a thing," she said in response.

"Was that you?"

"Would that it was," she said. "No. That was something that changes everything. Something we must be extremely wary of. Enough that I'd like to have an exit strategy available should the need arise. For us both. This world may come to an end very shortly."

"Who did we piss off now?" she said.

"Not we, dear apprentice. Not yet. But we stand at the precipice. Part of my ambitions will be realized soon. Yet I fear everything may be undone. All existence. And we might get caught up in the middle of it. Thus, I task you with the trivial task of ensuring that we have a way off this rock. A *discrete* way. Just in case. There are too many eyes on me now. First that former teacher of us started asking questions again. And now the Emperor himself is watching me. But you, nobody watches you. See to it that it remains that way, it is your greatest strength."

"Sure thing..." she said not really following the gravity of it all but she had a task at least.

"Good. Make sure that it's done within the next couple of days." She waved the matter aside with a hand. "Now, tell me what you've observed since coming here. To Ziost."

“Noisy and busy, people name them selves after raptors and blow things up… lots of Sith here to impress other Sith… pretty standard Imperial situation if you ask me. Oh and the Emperor is here and that about sums it up,” she said honestly.

“And apparently we will be leaving soon.”

There was a hint of dissappointment in her eyes.

"Not yet, but soon enough whichever way it goes, I expect."

She turned to the table, and her datapad with various notes. She switched over from the stuff for Savas, to her notes on the vision she'd had on Korriban.

"There is another matter that might be suited to your skillset. I want you to approach Darth Acina. Act the part of star-struck fledgeling fresh out of the academy who wants to pick her brain about a vision you had while on Korriban."

She re-arranged her notes into a new format; leaving some details out. Now it was mostly about the wall of light and the crimson skinned girl with three fingers. She also threw in a reference to Darth Traya, as well as hidden references to those she formerly held allegiance to, as a way of testing Acina's knowledge.

"This is the vision you had," she said, handing it over to her. "Tell her you want to learn more about the things you saw, and if she could be of any help."

"I had a vision, got it boss," she said with a nod.

"Good. Be careful around her. She may seem guileless, but she is still a Darth. Playing this part will be an excellent test for you. Far more so than our witless classmates and overseers at the academy."

"Easy peasy, boss, at dumb and get the goods, what could go wrong?" she responded.

OOC: Dark Side flipped, because everything can and will go wrong.

"Don't get cocky," she said, narrowing her eyes. "I'd hate to lose an apprentice at this junction to overconfidence."

She nodded and said, "Anything else?"
