Sylvain stood with his eyes closed an focused as centered his mind on the flow of the Force. For months he had been practicing and training his mind to control the power within him in concentrated form. A practice droid stood a few feet in front of him as he began to feel the crackle of power between his fingertips.

With a burst of rage and power he unleashed the pent up rage and aggression he kept bottled up inside. The blast came with such force that the poor practice droid exploded into tiny pieces from all the concentrated energy. Sylvain smirked confidently at the display. Finally he had learned to control the flow and project it outward. This was an important step for him... but only a first step.

His elation was disturbed by a notification that his guest had arrived and was being shown into the room where he was. As the door opened behind him he turned and greeted the young officer.

He had been surprised by the summons to a noble estate. Especially of one of a Lord and Imperial Governor. The Mandalorian had rocketed over, and followed the standard protocols.

As he entered the building, escorted by the servant. His armor bulky, and his blaster at his hip.

The sound of something being unleashed through the door caught him off guard, yet his helmet allowed him to maintain the facade of indifference.

Looking at the man, he bowed slightly, as was custom when addressing a Lord. "Good Morning, my Lord. And congratulations on your wedding. May you both have many happy years together."

He nodded graciously, "Thank you for your congratulations Lieutenant. Any number of years in service of the Empire are a blessing beyond comparison."

He faced the young man and eyed him up for a moment, "Mandalorian armor. When did you join up in the military?"

"As soon as I could, my Lord. When I was seventeen." He watched the other man as he spoke, trying to determine what the summons could be about from simple observation. "Graduated from the Academy in three years. My parents have both served as well. We are Mandalorian, but we serve the Empire."

He nodded, "I inquired to Col. Moraal about a person to help with an investigation. One who is loyal to the Empire and can maintain a certain level of necessary discretion. The name she supplied was yours."

He continued to look at the man carefully, "Why is it that you serve the Empire?"

"Because the Empire is the only thing standing between an Ordered and Secure Galaxy, and the fall to entropy. I serve because it is the right thing to do, because I want to fight for security and peace."

He relaxed his posture, his hands clasped behind his back. "I've never been one for glory hunting. I let my work speak for itself. Discretion is something I value highly. How may I be of service?"

He nodded, "These are good answers, and I sense they are true as well. I must ask one more question however... And do not try to deceive me. What is your connection to Imperial Intelligence?"

"Other than a run in with a Watcher while apprehending a terrorist cell involved with the Eagle, I've got none." He shook his head, an eyebrow raised quizzically within his helmet.
