Long Time No See (Pregame, Mid Evening)

[Sinea Okatesh]

Sinea was not quite an alcoholic enough to drink all the wine. Yet. Sinea did seemed to hold herself close, tight, but let out a small laugh. "I meant footing for another war, not for your claim." She smiled, though there was no mockery in her tone.

"My master? Well...she has her desires, and dreams." she sighed. "You want her support, or her sight?"

[Lord Tenebrous]

"For a war, we'd need to seize more assets to rapidly rebuild our strength. Something we should have done when the peace treaty was signed, seeing as it didn't stop us from going after targets that were not the Republic," Shaisha shrugged. There was plenty more in the galaxy that wasn't the Empire or the Republic.

"As for Arya, both would be nice, but I'd take her support over her sight." Her lips curled in a smirk. "The preference lies with your sight instead, Sinea. She might be more powerful than you, but even visions vary from person to person. What you see interest me more."

[Sinea Okatesh]

A low, throaty laugh escaped the sith lips. "How flattering." She smiled. "I'll return it with some frankness. Arya's motives are her own, and they are mysterious. Nonetheless, I would be willing to push her on your behalf." She finished her wine in one go.

"For certain things in exchange, of course."

[Lord Tenebrous]

"Of course," she said with a matter-of-fact tone. "Nothing is free, and give and take is only natural."

"Question then is what Sinea Okatesh wants."

"Power has a price." She stroked the grey locke of hair idly. "A few things...perhaps a lordship would be nice, for starters." She smiled. "Of course, I am curious what you expect your portfolio to be?"

[Lord Tenebrous]

"You probably could easily claim a Lord title now if you wanted, my dear," she said warmly as she watched the seer. "As for my portfolio... we'll see. There's a whole game to be played first for the two seats. And there are many others interested."

"Lord Prettyface?" She smiled, then indicated to the servers for a refill ."There are reasons I haven't pushed for it, and if you win...well, if I am pledging my support for you either way. Might as well make my title significant."

She sat deep in thought. "Any visions lately?"

[Lord Tenebrous]

"You shall be the most beautiful of all the Lords, my dear," she chuckled with warm humor and put down her glass. Sinea's question made her thoughtful, and it was a question she would not dismiss with humor.

"Yes." She said at first, her expression neutral but her eyes intense. Not everything could be shared, but she could share the most important beats.

"Myself sitting on a throne; a throne of bones. A throneroom of corpses, and beyond the walls I see fire and all of Ziost burning. A woman approaching, she is the Dragon. She is a child of power, of the Emperor, I think. And she is either the cause of the fire and death, or she is drawn to it."

Shaisha breathed in to calm herself. "And yourself?"

Sinea nodded, serious. "Fire, yes. The ice...burning." She smiled. "That was... on the night." She didn't specify which.

"And one more recent, similarly disconcerting."

[Lord Tenebrous]

"As usual, you have much more control of your visions than I do, it seems," she nodded respectfully to the woman that was once her fellow student at the Academy.

"Tell me of this disconcerting vision. Or at least, how much you are willing to share of it."

Sinea smiled. "Well...as much as I adore you, I cannot give you everything." She pouted slightly. "It does concern the Eagle, and the Emperor." she looked at Sinea strangely, before returning to her coy smile.

"I am willing to divulge the rest, but of course we'll have to discuss the terms. Also, my dear, I need to know what other support you have. You're lovely bottom notwithstanding, I will not be your only pillar if you wish to do this."

Her seriousness broke away into a grin and she laughed softly. Shaisha refilled her own glass and offered Sinea a refill as well.

"Ah, of course," she smiled in return. "Jo'ren will no doubt also support me, and through him, hopefully Vengean as well. My master already has backed me, though I suppose we have a flair for the dramatic in that we've been keeping it on the quiet side for now. And there are more people I am thinking of reaching out to, once they arrive planet-side," Shaisha mused. "So no, you would not be alone."

Sinea listened. "Interesting, certainly." She mulled, in thought. "Jo'ren's support will matter, surely. I suspect if you wish to reignite the war, you will get some support from those parties as well." She stretched, slowly. "do you see many rivals?"

[Lord Tenebrous]

"Of course. Anyone else that is vying for a seat is a rival," she scoffed quietly. "Though there are a few that I consider to be worthy rivals, whom I wouldn't mind if they ascended to the second seat. Kristal, or shall I say, the Steel Valkyrie - our former classmate from Korriban, she is one I consider worthy. The other is a lord by the name of Jaheem Abasi."

"Of course. Anyone else that is vying for a seat is a rival," she scoffed quietly. "Though there are a few that I consider to be worthy rivals, whom I wouldn't mind if they ascended to the second seat. Kristal, or shall I say, the Steel Valkyrie - our former classmate from Korriban, she is one I consider worthy. The other is a lord by the name of Jaheem Abasi."

"Well yes. I had hoped you had better information on who you might face." She scoffed back. "Kristal eh? Marr's Champion, if I recall? I assume she would certainly support your agenda. Ah, Jaheem..." she chuckled. "Dear, do you believe in having a hive mind on the council?"

"If I am to suffer with the council for the immediate future, then yes, I want people of a similar mindset whom I can understand and work with," she grinned. "Besides, Kristal and I grew up together and have overcome differences before... I think that speaks well of our future working together."

Another sip of wine was imbibed. "Didn't know you were familiar with Jaheem though. As for other candidates, there is Darth Acina, Darth Hofu, some more murmurs about people I don't know or others that haven't been confirmed. Flying under the radar isn't unheard of, after all."

"If I am to suffer with the council for the immediate future, then yes, I want people of a similar mindset whom I can understand and work with," she grinned. "Besides, Kristal and I grew up together and have overcome differences before... I think that speaks well of our future working together."

"Somewhat familiar, heard of him, and well, he was a graduate of Korribna. I checked some past files when I started there."

She sipped her wine, the second glass now. "You and Kristal, disassembling the Dark Council, limb by limb? I can certainly see that." She put the glass down for now. "You certainly have some ideas, and the contest is just starting..." She eyed Shaisha slowly. "I will consult the Force in the coming days, and let you know what I see, if it concerns you. Consider it a gift, for old times' sake."

"Appriciated, old friend," Shaisha nodded her her in gratitude to Sinea. "Perhaps I shall make you the new headmistress of the Academy. Then we shall see more of a focus on the power of the Force rather than just some of the silly games we had to play at?"

Sinea laughed. "New headmistress? Sounds good, though I'll need lackeys for all the paperwork. You wouldn't think how much paperwork goes into teaching." She settled down, and imbibed some of her own liquid. "Power of the Force, eh? Any particular end you are seeking?"

Shaisha laughed warmly. "Of course. Likewise, I have people for the boring paperwork. Even a Sith Lord can't escape some of that," she snickered. "As for what I meant about the power of the Force, don't you think our time at the Academy was spent too much to train to be soldiers, rather than mastering the Force?"
