Description: Just another beautiful day on the promenade, people are shopping and enjoying the afternoon, even with a light snow overhead the streets are comfortable and well-tended to. Then a transport speeder crashes into a security vehicle and out poor armed thugs with dark balaclavas they open fire on the innocents as a trio make their way inside a communications structure for some nefarious purpose!

One shouts loudly, “There can be no justice when the Dark Council plots against the Emperor! For the Eagle for justice!”

Rules: This is a combat thread, players start at Medium range to the group of terrorists, and Long range to the squad heading inside the building. The players have four rounds to stop the interior group if they so choose or can ignore them and just defeat the thugs outside.

Rewards/Outcome: If they can stop the squad that went inside they can earn a clue towards the identity of the Hunter.

Jan is trying on an exceptionally expensive pair of crystal heels when a crash and blaster shots outside disrupts her shopping meditation. Evidently there were some thrills nearby!

"Terribly sorry, but I'll be right back."

The rep grabs her rifle and dives out of the shop, rolling behind a particularly dense potted plant and bringing her scope up to see what all the fuss was.

The Mandalorian rocketed through the fire, no more than two meters off the ground. Turning to hover in front of the door, Tyber fired his multi-goo gun at the one who appeared to be in the lead.

"Freeze, scum." He bellowed, firing the goo gun, which went wide due to both the movement of his jetpack, and the terrorists own formidable defenses.

Using the 1 advantage to giventhe next PC a boost to their roll, as the surprise of a Mandalorian jetpacking in catches them off guard.

Several volleys of fire rip around the Mandalorian but only one solid hit finds purchase.

Soon he bellowed a laugh as he threw himself at the enemy uncaring of any danger. In an instant he fell upon the first group of hatchling

The fury is far too much for the Eagle Bois as one falls with ease!

The eagle Buddy Bois continue inside the structure leaving their leader behind to complete the mission! The group that Mahr savaged move back and fire their blasters at him putting him in a bad spot as many blasts find home on the massassi! The group not savaged by him also unleash blaster fire dealing a serious injury!

OOC: One thug is out in Group Mahr and one is down to 2 wounds, the other two are still alive! Eagle Buddy Bois continue to move, then Action to Move to Extreme range from everyone but Tyber who is at Medium, almost Long. Squad Mahr don’t like this one bit and move away from him and unload at Short range!

Hit Mahr for 12 wounds and use 2 advantages to add a setback to Mahr’s next action! Squad Not Mahr is also going to shoot at Mahr as he is at Short to them! Team Not Mahr hit Mahr for 14 wounds and a Critical Injury with their Triumph!

The Mandolorian jetpacks directly into the middle of the terrorists bellowing at them to freeze

A roar draws her attention and she pans her view over to a giant Massassi looked in combat with another group of attackers, he was taking hits, not good.

"Hit the deck, Red!"

Jan points her pistol over at the group and turns its power dial up to 11. The tiny weapon unleashing a torrent of blaster fire into the terrorists.

....It's possible she laughs maniacally at this.

The Czerka mad woman's blasts wipe out the group that Mahr had savaged! The terrorists return fire at Jan and the Sith, Jaheem, but only the Sith is harmed in the hail of blaster fire!

OOC: Mahr Minion group is gone. Jan is unscathed but she has a setback to her next check due to Advantage. jaheem is struck for 12 wounds and the next NPC ally gets a boost die.

Jaheem grits his teeth against the pain as the blaster bolt Sears his shoulder. He surges toward the leader eagle getting behind cover from the blaster fire and quickly grabbing a stim from the pouch on his belt and injecting himself with the drugs. Then he turned his mind on the man who seemed to be the leader. His mind was unfocused due to the pain and the darkside felt far away but he grit his teeth and his eyes flared red as he channeled the force into the leader's mind causing him to be off balance and frozen with fear.

Tyber reeled from the hit, but quickly assessed the tactical sotuation. Cursing as he saw the terrorists running into the building, but the leader quaking in fear.

"Kriff! Take him alive! We need the intel!" He howled, before rocketing into the building after the terrorists. He had to protect the communication hub.

Weaving through the foyer, he quickly gained on the enemy, firing the goo gun again. The gun hiss as the goo collided into them, but couldn't maintain a gripping hold.

Short range to buddy bois in building

The Eagle Buddy Bois dive for cover and return fire on the Mandalorian! The blaster bolts rip through transparsteel and shower the room with glass and smoke making it difficult for Tyber to keep them in his sights.

OOC: They take 2 wounds and all are still standing. They move to Cover and fire still at Short to Tyber and miss but use 2 advantages to give him a setback on his next action!

Currently three minion groups are at Medium to Jan and short to Jaheem, while the Eagle Big Boi is at long to Jan and medium to Jaheem, and Mahr is short to the three minion groups and at medium to the Big Boi.
