The Emperor is in attendance and Imperial Court is called into session. As usual all members of the Dark Council are in attendance though as usual Darth Marr and Darth Jadus are present via hologram. Darth Hofu still has his modest chair.
The Voice is presenting the agenda which seems to refer to improved integration of aliens into the military apparatus.
Just another day of Imperial Court.

The Witness was there, among the Emperor's entourage, looking calm and vaguely amused, as she usually did. Despite her outward appearance, she was tense. Something was coming. She did not know precisely what it was. She did not know exactly when it'd get here. And she still didn't know what side of the fence she was coming down on. But there was no escaping destiny; the Witness knew that more than most.

Anything that improved the state of alien rights within the Empire was sure to draw Ilar's attention so he was here to listen to the declaration.

Having not missed court before, it would be odd if Lord Tenebrous was not present. Dressed in her
armor-like robes she had worn many times before in public occassions, she looked on with interest at the proceedings.

Rumun was here for another time. Of course alien discussions were interesting for him, not because of him being an alien but because this type of conversations have the potential for increased emotions and passions.

"Darling," Dayana whispered, her teeth biting down on her lips afterwards. Her arms were crossed over her, her fingers interlaced with the fabric of her dress. "There is a chill in the air."

"Lady Valthren," the aspirant nodded respectfully to the ambassador, cracking a brief smile. "How can there not be after yesterday's test...?"

"Perhaps," the masked one murmured after a few moments of silence. She kept her head facing forward though she easily could turn her 'gaze' elsewhere, as always. "You do not see as I do. My perception is muted compared to what others are capable of... oh I would not envy them if they were present."

Jun-Tsu occupied herself setting Vas-Tsu's hair, adjusting her veil so it sat more correctly on her head. Her face, what could be seen of it below her own low-set veil was a mask of general disinterest and boredom. What did she care about the affairs of aliens. Still, she was not about to let the seats of House Farro sit empty for court. So, she sat, content to fuss with her daughters hair, the heavy robes washing over her frame. The petitions voiced their concerns as they always did, vying for one option or another.

In one of his odd moments, Alister decided to attend this day. Though he didn't expect anything of note. The witch had seemed to think something would happen though, so he decided to attend regardless.

Sometime this morning, Kev Two-Spines, Shelzais's absolute favorite bookie on Ziost, had messaged to remind her that this afternoon was the very last chance to place a bet on which Aspirants would receive the Dark Council's approval. Shel found she didn't quite have the heart for a big wager--some part of her, the tiny part which still felt heroes were
cool even if she didn't actually
believe in them, was put out by the news of the Steel Valkyrie's death yesterday. But she'd let herself be talked in to a few small stakes... and, as a special favor to Kev (one which she certainly expected him to return later), agreed to attend court and see what she could see of the Councillors' mood today before they went into session with the Aspirants. Any sort of cue could be useful to a professional oddsmaker, after all.
Court being... well... court, she'd dialed back her usual flamboyant fashion preferences
slightly, opting for an uncharacteristically full-coverage
robe that would let her blend into the background somewhat while keeping out the Ziost chill. There weren't many places where Shelzais Sek preferred to stay far from the center of attention, but in the Emperor's presence was certainly one of them.

Lord Rath looked different today. He was decked out in a new suit of armour. Well, it was new to him. It hailed from a different time. The Armour of the First Wrath. He still had his trusty cloak, but there was an aura of simmering violence that was hard to disguise. The feeling that some sort of righteous smiting was long overdue.
Looking around the room he made his way over towards Jun-Tsu and Vas-Tsu. "Ladies."

Raela wAs there, sitting with Ilar, thinking about her research and vaguely annoyed that she wasn't in the middle of it instead of here.

Lord Bellious was in attendance. In a cloak over her armour, she was blending better in the growing crowd than more resplendent Sith. Her assistant was staying not far behind, even less assuming.

Remmington is attending court as well. He is quietly sitting in his armour and watching the proceedings as usual. He notes the shiny new armour that Jo'ren is sporting. It is definitely something that catches his eye.
