Jaheem approaches and bows to the emperor deferentially though there is no fear in his eyes as he looks to servant nine and prepares for his trials. She tests his knowledge of the Empire's underworld and he answers deftly though his quickness may call into question the amount of time he spends with the criminal element despite it being his job. He then divulged his methods of how to extract information from a suspect using fear and force, many of the on lookers may have been unnerved by the mechanical and deadpan way Jaheem described horrific methods of torture and mental deconstruction while others likely nodded in approval. The final test came and Jaheem was asked a number of scenarios that involved how to lead and the qualities it involved. Jaheem had little experience with leadership but he projected enough confidence and power that any mistakes he made in his answering were likely overlooked

His trial completed he bowed his head "I would like to move on to the second trial my lord."

Servant Nine replied, “I am Servant Nine, look at me!” She stared for long moments and then said harshly, “bring her out!”

Two members of the Imperial Guard in their gleaming red armor escort out his mother, her face is battered and bruised but she still seems strong in her way. The Hand of the Emperor commanded, “Execute this woman, or endure the Emperor’s Mercy.”

Madelle was forced to her knees and she looked up at Jaheem and said, “Son… oh I have dreaded this moment.”

The Emperor smiled and waited under his darkened hood.

Jaheem paused. He was a Sith Lord, Yes. He was an Inquisitor who had tortured people, done things that even other Sith may not consider appropriate for conversation. Torn people's minds apart leaving them little more than drooling shells. These things were all true but Jaheem was not heartless. Through great effort he kept his emotions off his face as he saw his mother there prepared for execution. He was now in this impossible scenario, either he killed his own mother to assist in his ascension to the dark council or he dies here in this room a failure.

Jaheem stood and looked into his mother's eyes, he admired her even now for the strength she exuded not flinching in the face of their darkest hour. In that moment he knew what he needed to do, he needed to learn from her. She did not wail, she did not cry for mercy or beg him not to do it.

Jaheem walked forward and unfastened his saber from his hip. The Sith Lord knelt down and looked his mother in the eyes for a long moment then his hand came to the back of her head and he placed his forehead against hers a whispered phrased shared between mother and son a soft "I love you." meant only for them. Suddenly a snapping crackle broke the silence and a red vibrant light filled the darkness between them as the blade of his lightsaber pierced his own mother's heart. Almost as suddenly as it appeared, it was gone and Jaheem laid his mother's still form on the floor gently.

After a long moment with his head bowed Jaheem looked up and there was a maelstrom of emotions but the core of them was resolve. Jaheem had a goal and a purpose, one that was not just for himself but for the entire empire. His mother understood these things, she taught him the things he believed and he would forge help move this empire into one that she would approve of. But for now he stood another step towards realizing his goals taken.

“I am Servant Nine, look at me! Take this trash with you, you have proven your loyalty to the Immortal Emperor,” she responded looking down at the corpse.

“You are dismissed from the mighty Emperor’s sight.”
