[Day 3, EA] Rakatan riches or ruin?

Leaving the Dread Masters behind, Jo'ren and his companions were directed to the old section of the station. This was where the pirates went to find trinkets, or die trying. The section was mostly blocked off but the pirates had found a way inside.
"Okay. Everyone ready to explore this place? Probably a bunch of active defenses so keep your eyes peeled."

The entrance to the old station is rusted and cold and once in that hallway you feel the weightlessness of no zero-g, or near weightlessness. The door ahead has a blinking sign in Huttese that reads Danger and a digital blinking display that says Life Support 0% in bold red characters.
The entrance door looks like it is locked shut with a touch panel for entry.
OOC: There is no gravity in this section.

Shaisha checked her gear one more time before giving a nod.
"Ready as can be."
Noticing the lack of gravity, and the warning text, she at least got out her breath mask. "That can't be good... check the panel to see if it's even possible for us to see what's on the other side?" she said, looking to Hin and Lucinia - being the smart people.

Jo'ren shrugged and pushed off carefully towards the door. Perhaps he'd be able to see what it looked like inside.
"What do you think Ashley. Is that warning legit? Or just something the pirates rigged up to keep out unwanted guests?"
He wasn't much use with computers, that was definitely more her game. She gave him a funny look. "I'm not entirely sure this is wise my Lord, but I'll take a look if you wish."

Lucinia was there, thankful that her dress could separate and be attached to her legs in zero gravity.

Xyll too was there. Floating about and stuff. "If we're going in there, I'd rather not suffocate."

OOC: It is Computers or Education at Average with a setback due to the poor condition of the equipment.

The atmosphere on the other side is thin and the bigger concern could be radiation, it will be difficult and long term exposure could be detrimental to their health.
OOC: Thin atmosphere will provide a setback to all actions and two setback in combat without a breather or vacuum controlled suit.

"Alright then. Respirators on. Then a checkup back at the ship." Looking around the group he added. "Or we come back when everyone's prorated. Up to you. I got what I came for."

"I must've left mine back home," she said. "But so long as we don't stay too long, I might be alright. I'd prefer *not* to waste yet another day's worth of time travelling all this way."

Lucinia pulled out a pair of respirators from her bag.
"I don't mind coming back later to do this properly." She said.

Shaisha was already ready with her breathmask. "Yeah let's not waste half a day travelling again."

Lucinia sighed. "Very well. The respirators should help. It seems that the radiation spikes up to more dangerous levels periodically. The scanner from our medpacs might be able to help detect and avoid that." She pursed her lips thoughtfully. "One person remaining behind to run this console and warn us via comms may also work."
She looked at Jo'ren. "Unless your ship has any usable suits? That would make this a great deal more simple."

He shook his head. "Not enough to go around. Might as well take a quick look, see what we see."

She took one of Lucinia's masks.
"Surely there are ways of dealing with short-term radiation exposure once suffered?"
This was the future, after all. *Someone* must've figured out a treatment!

"Get your ass to the sick bay. Usually does it." Jo'ren pulled his own respirator out, Ashley did the same. "Ready then? Let's do this."

The door opens into a ruined chamber beyond that was probably a living area or office at one time but now is just filled with rusted metallic boxes and weathered cloth floating in space. There is sealed door to the right and on the left an open passageway where a rumbling can be heard.

Holding onto what was available to avoid drifting away too much, Shaisha tilted her head to the sound of the rumbling.
"What's that sound? A reactor...?"

"Perhaps," she said, before holding her hand out and, hopefully, opening the sealed door on the right, before placing it over the open passageway on the left. If there *was* radiation coming from that open passageway, this might block it somewhat. And there was also the possibility of lots of shinies behind any close door, after all.
On the other hand, if there was any indication that there was a vacuum behind the sealed door, she would quickly place the door back where it had come, to prevent them from being blown out into space.
