[Dapper Dog]

As Hurn and Hoshi duel, their lightsabers clashing those that succumbed to the Emperor move towards them… it seems a purge is going to begin as the rest of the Dark Council unleashes their sabers and wades into combat unleashing their power to protect their lives.

Darth Arya were curiously missing.

Alister was battered by debris as he tried to dodge out of the way. This place was getting messy and it was certainly time to leave.

The debris battered Raela, unable to move enough of it to keep from getting clocked with a rock. "Ugh... Ilar, we really need to go."

Ilar nodded his agreement, even as the fire burned within him at Jaheem's boldness. The fire was extinguished however by the piece of masonry that came flying into his ribs horizontally as someone across the room deflected it into him.

I hate politics, I hate the Dark Council, I hate this building and I hate this city... But she did like Lord Vowrawn, albeit somewhat against her better judgement. Why did a person who was much too important to be safe to like have to be so delightful? What a waste.

A tiny whimper from inside Shelzais's purse seemed to echo this assessment.


"I'm just... I'm not doing anything stupid. I just want to see if he'll come around. Then we're out of here," Shel promised the terrified animal.

Dayana's concerns were answered soon enough and replaced with so many more. She took a moment to steady herself, taking a few deep breaths, and cursing the fact that she felt like a Jedi at this moment. When her heart rate seemed to lower ever so much, she turned to Darth Vowrawn. "I would rather you not perish. I'll see to Lord Tenebrous, if it's all the same to you."

The masked Sith did not wait for an answer before heading off after Shaisha. The old man was useful, amusing even, but his demise would not perturb her too much.

Sylvain watched as his sister and the Miraluka ran off towards the Emperor. There was a moment of hesitation from him... the call of heroism pulled him as did his sister's obvious plight. If anyone were to end her... it should be him... but as he looked around the room and saw the Council fighting for their lives. As his old master contested with opponents... He stopped and focused on the moment.

He turned to Nasari, "There are other battles that require our attention. We must secure the Empire's future... no matter who rules over what remains of it after today."

He and his apprentice then made their way through the chaos out of the court room.

There wasn't much for Alister to do, but he wasn't leaving quite yet. Taking a Stim out he applied it as his gaze moved over the room. This really wasn't the kind of place he wished to linger at for long. Lightsabers were dangerous business after all.

His actions were rigid as if it took great effort to maintain a semblance of control.

As they exited the area, Raela felt a sharp prick in her shoulder as Ilar jabbed her with a couple of stimpacks (restoring 9 wounds)

"Yep, let's get out of here."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington dodges and cuts apart some of the debris falling around him with no issue. He looks upon the room and sees the Dark Council battling among themselves. This is not his fight so he decides to leave that alone. He hurries to go catch up with the rest of the group that left. He does take a moment to aid anyone who may not be able to fend for themselves easily and escorts them to safety before rushing off.

Jan tugs the bolt on her rifle, rechambering the next gas cannister. His targetting lady Sek was hardly appropriate.....although hopefully he hadn't been anyone too important.

"Oh... well shit." Shel threw up her arms and ducked behind a chunk of duracrete, peeking out when no second shot followed. "Uhh... hang in there, Lord Vowrawn... Hey!" she raised her voice a little but not too much, afraid of the other Emperor-minions. Though she shouldn't appear to be a threat to them, probably.... "Anyone know how to, err... Medic!"

An unhappy howl from inside her bag echoed Shelzais's call.

There is an almighty explosion on the top of her tower and the sniper is hurled off, small arcs of electricity streaming from her body as she disappears into the darkness.

Raela sensed a loss in the Fabulous side... and it wasn't in her to just sit by and do absolutely nothing. She stopped in the hall as she sensed it, then turned and ran back into the chamber cursing at herself. "Whyyyyyy do these things?!"

She spotted Vowrawn on the ground and heard the cry for a medic, running over there. "I'm on it!"

She worked rapidly next to what Alister was doing, teeth grit as she patched up the grievous wound through his torso.

Vowrawn came to his senses and said, “Oh my… I’ve been shot…” He fumbled in his robe and pulled out his communicator and said, “My sweet dark angel do come closer…”

He took a selfie and said, “Wait… you blinked… one more time.”

Another one and he said, “Perfect… hashtag-nearlydied? No… hashtag-deadsexy…. Oh how about both? I have not been shot in years, I really should do this more often… the pain is exhilarating.”

"Shot quite thoroughly, I'd say," she replied, indulging in the selfie. What else were they really going to do under the circumstances while she ensured that he didn't start bleeding out as soon as he moved again. "Near-death experiences are a hell of a drug, I hear."

Wiping her hands with an anti-bacterial cloth, she nodded toward the door. "Maybe take a break before putting on a repeat performance, dramatic though it was."

The shot had been suprising and so was the following explosion of the tower. On his way out of the coming disaster he did manage to spot the familiar white dress of a woman who was overly fond of guns.

He couldn't really hold it against her for shutting the Sith Lord, so making his way towards the destroyed tower he called out cautiously. "Miss Melmoar?"
