[Day 8 - MA] The Malgus Deception

[Lord Bellious]

Lord Bellious watched the cruiser's explosion with a measure of contemplation. In the end, Malgus was Jadus' tool so she wondered what plans of his were enabled and subverted by this turn of events. Whatever his scheming, it looked like Arya and Marr seemed better predisposed to determine direct outcomes now. Putting her name amid those who had ended the coup was not a bad political move though. She had been bidden to take care of her survival, and she was managing the survival thing quite well, it seemed.

She opened the comms to Lachris and Arya.

"Good hunting, esteemed Darths. What is the situation on the ground?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Surprisingly quiet we lost all comms with our stations in and around New Adasta,” she said bitterly.

“Apparently the Emperor is dead?” she said softly as if it could not be true.

“But we have secured orbit,” she said regaining her composure.

[Lord Bellious]

"I suppose it's a good position to learn whatever piecemeal information shall keep coming up."

She tried to keep her composure too, and sought the veracity of the claim in her own mind. Was he truly gone?

"I wonder which Councillors have survived the onslaught." Her political thoughts already raced toward the aftermath, hoping Arya would deign to offer some insight.

[Dapper Dog]

Darth Arya answered, “I do not know, Marr and Jadus are offworld and last I saw all were alive before Hoshi decided to take an opportunity for vengeance, so we shall see.”

“For now my forces will secure orbit and assist Darth Lachris, the concerns of the Dark Council are secondary to securing Ziost and bringing order. Darth Lachris will see to you if need to land to make repairs.”

Darth Lachris added, “As you say, Darth Arya.”

[Lord Bellious]

"My vessel is in good shape. Is there something I could assist you with in restoring order, Darth Arya?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Clearing up the traitors is welcome," Darth Lachris replied.

[Lord Bellious]

"Any crucial pockets of them identified? Unless you mean Malgus' holdouts in the system space."

[Dapper Dog]

They get coordinates and intel on trouble areas but with the additional forces and their command in disarray there is little issue in reducing the survivors to ash or worst.

Drascovina takes great joy and killing the traitors.

Moyr found some reprieve in indiscriminate wipe-outs, asking Razzya to concurrently prepare a duly spun social media content of her accomplishments of that day.

Her ship’s wings wiggle in salute and the rep flies off in the direction of absolutely no bases.
