Lucinia frowned. "And why should we avoid these conflicts? That's how the best ideas are tested."

And yet, Lucinia was smart enough to recognize a certain amount of contradictory short-sightedness in the way Sith sometimes did things. Besides, in the end, wouldn't a true Sith not be bound to anything, including, ironically, the Sith code? Frowning, she began a deeper study. In the end, all that mattered was power, after all.

But, after a few minutes, she looked back over her shoulder with a smile. "This may take a while, and I don't wish to bore you." Lucinia addressed both; perhaps Jan a bit more. "Shall I take it up another time?"

"Or..." She turned back to the holocron. "Rithuda, can you highlight any bits that might be of most interest to a Sith? If you know your audience, you would, as they say, bait the hook with a promise of greater power, or at least knowledge."

"Exactly as Lady Malveaux suggests....what's your pitch? You're facing a Sith and he's a big guy who wears nothing but black and is only really interested in reminding everyone around him how badass he is, how do you convince him to do any thinking?"

Pause

"This is hypothetical though, all Sith are wonderful."

The description made Lucinia give a rather unladylike snort.

"Jan, you've just described about a third of my graduating class, as well as my older brother." She murmured as an aside to Jan, her green eyes glinting. She stifled further laughter as she turned back to the holocron.

As well as half the Dark council. Or whoever was on the dark council when such a thing existed. "It does seem like something that would be hard to digest in one sitting." Alister offered thoughtfully.

Jan slowly buries her face in her hands

"He's completely worthless....."

[Alister Dravvad]

"I wouldn't say worthless." Alister offered in return. "To the right people this may still be worth a lot. Even if he is a rather poor salesman."

[Lucinia Malveaux]

Lucinia gave one of her half-shrugs. "I suppose the Jedi may see some intrinsic value in this holocron besides the engineering. There is one on the planet. Perhaps I shall try her."

She turned back to the holocron. "I do intend to study all his papers. See if there is anything worth reading." She smirked. "Perhaps he just wanted someone to read them." Lucinia waved a hand. "But that is for later, I think."

She nods at what certainly sounded like good points.

"I was just hoping for a traditional darkside holocron with lessons on unlimited power and all that good stuff. Still, it is the will of the force or some such. At least together we figured it out?"

[Alister Dravvad]

"Indeed." Alister glanced at the object. "Though I think all we've really done is give more work to, Lady Malveaux." He added with a slight smirk. "Which isn't nesscarily a bad thing."
