Doctor's Follow-up (D3 ME)

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain waited in the elevator that took him to the ceiling of his family's home on Dromund Kaas. Nasari was already preparing the ship for travel back to Ziost when an urgent message notification came to his communicator.

He opened the frequency and saw Raela Ausar on the other end of the Hologram.

"Good Evening Lady Ausar. Everything alright?"

[Raela Ausar]

Raela was grinning like the cat that ate the canary when she came up on on holo. "Everything is fantastic. If nothing else goes right today, we will have this."

"I cracked the virus."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Oh? That's great news!" He said with a smile.

"I thought my news of finding you a fellow researcher would have been a significant breakthrough... You've done one better." He replied.

"What have you learned? A way to treat it?"

[Raela Ausar]

"Oh? I am interested in it, so tell me about that in a second," she said replied. "But no, we had an insufficient understanding of the virus to make a real cure. I've been researching it entirely... I'm going to start on the cure itself tomorrow."

"I did a full genetic analysis and a study of the shell. It's bioengineered. It's an amalgam of other viruses. I want to know who made it, but I need to work on the cure."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Engineered... I see..." He replied with less enthusiasm as his mind began to churn.

"You should not be distracted from your work. Let me handle that... It is possible if we find out where it came from, then the data they used to create it could be of use to finding a cure."

[Raela Ausar]

"Any additional data would help, of course, but..." She frowned. "... Well... Be careful about what you dig into. Don't get yourself into something you can't get out of. This may go pretty high."

"So, you were saying something about a fellow researcher?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

“All the better the reason to dig into it. To know the depth of the problem at hand.” He replied calmly.

He then continued, “I’ve found a couple of renown Arkanian scientists to aid in the work. One Dr. Kimlya stated he already knew you and would be in contact. The other is a man named Sarron Dorros. I relayed to him your contact information as well this afternoon.”

[Raela Ausar]

"We'll talk more about it when we're in person next. I don't necessarily trust even a secured channel," she replied darkly.

"Yes... I've met Dr. Kimlya," she agreed. "Sarron Dorros... Got it. Thank you."

[Sylvain Torsin]

“I’m headed back to Ziost as we speak. I shall stop by in the morning if it fits your schedule. From what I understand you have a busy night ahead of you.”

[Raela Ausar]

"Yes... If I die, ask Ilar'shala for the data," she replied with a nod.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Don't die." He said with a smirk.

"It's not good for your health. And you'd be much harder to contact."

[Raela Ausar]

She laughed. "I'll try. I wouldn't want to inconvenience you."
