It stopped and turned and beeped and booped at her.

Every few seconds it sparks near the optical sensors.

Well, at least it seemed to understand her.

"Show me schematics for this structure, and it's surrounding area."

With any luck, it'd have a functional holographic projector and could show her the data it contained.

The beeps and boops are not like an astromech droid, it seems foreign. It turned and lifted dirt and then tried to hand it to Xyll.

Useless. There was just one more thing to try, she returned to the room where the blocked off door could be found, and tried to utilize the force to open it up.

The door screeches open and then dirt mud and snow falls into the home revealing a way out. The ancient droid continues to follow the Sith.

"Well, onward then."

She ventured out into the snow, continuing on toward where she thought the real site was located. The droid could come along, if it could survive.

As she approached she found there were members of the Imperial Guard on patrol.

The droid followed.

It was a good thing she had clearance to be here. Still, why were they patrolling *here* of all places? Perhaps it was simple coincidence. Perhaps they were here for a reason. She decided to approach them, no stealth; letting herself be seen without issue.

[Dapper Dog]

The Imperial Guard looked Xyll and said, "Witness, this area is restricted by the Emperor's commandment."

[Xyll Vanth]

Well, they knew who she was, at least.

"I have permission to be here," she said, simply.

[Dapper Dog]

"Our commands are clear," he said calmly.

[Xyll Vanth]

"Repeat your orders to me, then. You are to restrict access to *this* area specifically? Why?"

She looked about, counting how many of them there were.

[Dapper Dog]

"Because the Emperor wills it," he said calmly.

She can see two in front of her but there are others as she can hear their boots in the snow.

[Xyll Vanth]

"I am the Witness," she said, glaring at him. She was not about to let some insignificant servant like this deny her from her prize. "I am an extension of the Emperor's will. My eyes must witness all that he does. You will let me pass."

They were obviously not intimidated by her.

They do not move or react. They were the Emperor's hand picked Imperial Guard, loyal unto death.

This wasn't over. She would see what was here, sooner or later. The emperor didn't post a guard on a specific site like this if there wasn't *something* of importance here.

But she was ill-prepared for a confrontation. So she turned around and headed back to the city. At least she had a new droid.
