The familiar voice pricked her ears. She turned to meet it, polite smile creeping into place which warmed as she found the source of the greeting.

"Lord Torsin," she said, bowing deferentially, "It has indeed! I believe that may be my fault, my apologies. I haven't had many opportunities to leave the Corellian system until very recently. Have you been well?"

Wearing a long stylish green gown with a plunging backline, Lana Beniko made her entrance and immediately drifted over to the refreshments to get a glass of wine and observe the events. She mainly kept her eye on a specific guest, an outsider tough she did so across the garden.

Could there be a worst place to be for a Jedi… she could not think of it but Yuon just smiled nervously and tried to do her best to look stately in her simple dark Jedi robes. Nothing to worry about… just an army of Sith between her and the exit… nothing to worry about at all.

She nervously smoothed out her robe feeling very under dressed. It did not help that she felt like a fish flopping around gasping for air.

There is no emotion… only peace.

He motioned for a nearby waiter and replied, "I've been busy enough as well. I've been made Governor over a system called Zygerria. I'd doubt you'd ever heard of it, but then again... you do have a penchant for knowing a great deal."

There's something else off...despite looking out of place, she doesn't seem to have the knotted muscle tension that was ubiquitous at these gatherings.

She turned to look away, gazing upon some of the other guests... the curiously serene one. Who looked unlike a sith. Her eyes lingered on her as she spoke to Jun-Tsu.

"I have not heard this term before... umbra osara?"

Darth Tayana approached the serene woman and they had a quick conversation. Tayana placed a hand on her back and whispered something which brought a shocking laugh to the woman and then the dark lord handed her a cup f win and she offered more warm words before she departed leaving the serene woman staring at her glass with crimson cheeks.

She took a deep drink of the wine as if to stiffen her nerves. Meanwhile Tayana moved on to speak with Darth Vowrawn and whatever date he had brought for the night... it was unclear since the person on his arm was not the person he arrived with.

Ahhhh That seemed to make more sense. The new woman must have been a new adjunct to the Sith Lord Tayana, and this must have been one of the new gatherings. Being out of place was likely due to the newness of the position, but training would have been rather recent. The woman must have been freshly supplicant.

Dino casts an eye in the direction of Darth Bellious. It's not that far away, I can reach her quickly if need be.

Yuon looked up and smiled at the trandoshan and spoke in his language not realizing his question, “Oh… it is a pleasure and I hope the Scorekeeper views your hunts with honor…”

“Wait, Master?” she said curiously.

“I apologize, my Master returned to the Force long ago he is at peace now. That is kind of you to say though, I am Yuon Par, part of the Republic delegation… but I am mostly just a humble servant of the Republic,” she said with a calm soothing demeanor.

Under her robe from her hip hangs a silvery lightsaber.

"I pledge that my offerings to the Scorekeeper are with honor." Dino offers a small bow, almost as a matter of form with a response to a greeting, half remembered from his youth. The pleasure of speaking his native tongue, and a few fond memories is replaced as he realizes just how wrong he had been.

"It seems that I was mistaken. I thought that you were the Sith Lord's new adjunct." Dino looks over his shoulder. "Perhaps I should not be speaking with you. Who knows what insidious thoughts of insubordination you might be filling my head with."

The last sentence is spoken so deadpan that not even Dino himself is sure that he is entirely serious.

She was out of her element here.

“I will not say anything… after this… starting… now.” She just looks at him awkwardly hoping she is helping his predicament giving him an awkward strained smile as she sips her wine.

"I am more used to be suspected than most here. My employer enjoys upsetting the kaff cart. I will make due."

"I can simply say that I am looking for extra work. I have previously been a teaching aid in lightsaber combat. I suspect that you might not have a reliable sparring partner while you are away from the...Republic." Dino seems to have difficulty speaking the last word.

“I am honored, but I am not looking for a sparring partner. I apologize if I gave that impression with my words or actions.”

Dino pauses, as if trying to remember something. He offers an over-exaggerated wink. That was something that humans did, right?

"But I can excuse speaking to you as trying to offer my services. It is part of the games." Dino gestures to the assembled gathering. "I would need a proper excuse if I am asked. The Empire is not trusting to many...even less so when one is not Sith...and even less so when one his not human."

Dino appraises the...what was it, Jedi? Is that what the 'Pubs called them? She seemed an interesting choice...squeamish.
