Lucinia Malveaux wrote:One eyebrow went up. "Oh? Are these secret side assignments? You know I do enjoy solving mysteries, don't you?" Idly playful, she began tracing circles on Jan's shoulder with one extended finger; it seemed a bit warmer now. "Now, what would I have to do to solve these mysteries...?"
For the moment, nothing; Jan's hair stroking felt much too nice. "Mmm..." Lucinia murmured again, her green eyes closing. "Well, do let me know if I can assist with one of them, anyway. And I shall do likewise if you can assist with one of mine. I do hope to have another expedition shortly. And this is one of the more enjoyable ways that Sith signify the beginning of an alliance."
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:"Oooh... you certainly do..." Lucinia stretched her slender form, luxuriating into the massage. Her lips curled up, her expression clearly pleased. It was impressive how much of the red color remained; clearly, it was an expensive lipstick. "You're earning yourself quite the leg rub later, you know. As I said, reciprocity is a key word..." Noting the reaction, she continued to let her finger play over Jan's skin, tracing the lines of her back.
She smiled. "No, most don't. Thankfully; many necessary alliances are with dreadful bores. This is more, hmmm, an extra benefit. For those special sorts of alliances." Her lips quirked, just a little, at that.
For a moment, Lucinia's eyes went half-lidded, long enough to give Jan a pleased glance. " I told you that I have a talent for finding secrets. Sometimes I use it to find long forgotten tombs." Her smile grew. "Sometimes I use it for rather more immediately enjoyable purposes." She laughed softly before subsiding under Jan's touch once more.
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:Lucinia smiled. "You underestimate my power." She murmured. "They may be long... and admittedly very nice..." She brushed one with her own, languidly shifting under the sheet, "-but my determination is greater. You'll see."
Fingers gently traced scars as well as muscle. To a Sith, scars were part of life, forming a tapestry all the more intriguing. "It does, doesn't it? I respect your drive, but I admire your ingenuity." Lucinia laughed softly. "In all the ways you've displayed it. I have some hope that, within the next few days, I'll be able to explore some ruins, right here on Ziost. I would like to see your ingenuity there, hmmm?"
Lucinia's lips parted at the feeling of Jan's lips on her scalp, her soft purr growing a bit louder.
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:Lucinia arched her back gently in response to the kiss on her neck.
"Indeed. It requires a sharp eye, a careful hand, and a practiced mind. And, more often than not, a strong will. Sometimes even a silver tongue. Sith spirits have an unfortunate tendency to linger, and sometimes need to be appeased." One green eye opened, and Lucinia smiled. "We could try dealing with them the same way we dealt with my ancestors out there. I rather doubt that it would work, though."
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:Lucinia flashed a quick grin. "I know you do." She murmured.
"Well... it could be worth a try. But tombs tend to be cold, dark, unpleasant sorts of places. Terrible for engaging in any sort of, ah, intimate behavior."
A beat. "Of course, I could have just described Malveaux House, I suppose." Lucinia laughed softly. "I don't suppose you're staying somewhere nice? Not just a research tent?"
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:Lucinia gasped, then murmured softly, clearly pleased. "Well... perhaps you'll have to give me a tour of your residence next, hmm? Do those amenities include heat? Light? Not a bunch of ancestor death portraits?"
"Well..." This time both eyes opened, and Lucinia smiled. "We shall just have to get you some then, won't we, my dear? Equal partnership, split what we find evenly. Just leave the stranger things to me." That was, after all, her interest.
Her lips pressed together. "Assuming I can get approval, of course."
Lucinia Malveaux wrote:"How luxurious." Lucinia laughed softly. "I do look forward to seeing it. As for money..." Lucinia shrugged one bare shoulder. "Sometimes I come up nearly empty-handed. But sometimes it is very lucrative indeed." She smiled. "And we both have the determination to make the lucrative finds, don't we?"
The poke earned Jan a soft squeak, but the comment earned her a surprisingly gentle smile. "I do appreciate the vote of confidence." Lucinia said softly.
After a moment, her eyebrows went up. "Was that also a hint that it's your turn? You are owed a leg rub, after all..."
