Imperial Court - Day 6
Agenda: Should we accept the Dread Masters?
Rules: Those utilizing Coercion gain a free upgrade to their rolls.
Outcomes: Option 1 - Accept the Dread Masters, Darth Hofu becomes their Vanguard (Darth Hofu will be given a 13th seat on the Dark Council to represent the Dread Masters), Option 2 - Earn their Place (Darth Hofu is not elevated to the Dark Council and the Dread Masters are welcomed back, but not given a special place in the Empire), or Option 3 - We do not need them (Dread Masters are denied and the Empire exiles them, there is no place for the weak).
Mood: The mood is tense, due the Emperor's presence and the fact there is concern about the Eagle. Anyone rolling a Despair will increase their Suspicion by 5.

Darth Hofu stepped forward to address the Imperial Court, “Immortal Emperor, dark Council, and honored members of the Empire. I come to you now to make a request oat the behest of the Dread Masters, they have returned from their unjust imprisonment by the Republic and would like to reclaim their place within the Emperor’s retinue. They who struck fear into the hearts of our enemies wish to continue their fight and guide the Empire to victory!”

“I beseech you to see reason and see that that Dread Masters will bring victory and strength the Empire, their hatred of the Republic has only increased and their wisdom would be shared.”

He finished with, “They have shattered the chains that held them, they are stronger than ever now and that strength should return to the Empire.”

Sylvain walked forward and began, “Darth Hofu speaks the truth. The Dread Masters were a powerful asset in the time of the war. My father was always confident in any engagement where they were present. Their power strikes right at the heart of the Republic. It exploits the frailty of their system... drives them to destroy themselves. The Republic knew this and expended great effort to remove them. Their absence was a painful blow to our campaigns. The return of the Dread Masters are accordingly a great boon to the Empire. It is the kind of strength we need. The kind of power that should be recognized and extolled.”

He gestured to Darth Hofu, “Darth Hofu is responsible for their potential return and should be commended for doing the one thing we all should be focused on. Bringing the resources and power to the Empire which shall allow us to accomplish our destiny, the destruction of the Republic!”

He glowered as if daring someone to disagree before making his way from the floor.

Fear of being weak, fear of loss, fear of rejection, etc. All of these creates the situation for the advancement of passion.'' Rumun said with his raspy voice.

'' To better understand the essence of the force and how emotion is directly tied to it, we must understand fear. Without such knowledge we are vulnerable and blind. By knowing how to control it we can further understand ourselves.''

''As such, we need the Dread Masters, and we need their experiences and knowledge of such crucial factor in the development of out understanding of the force. Thus, let us open our arms to those that seek such path. Let us welcome them in order to improve our Empire.''

'' Let those that deny such path cower in fear and dread. Fear of us.'' And with that final phrase, Rumun bowed and returned to his place.
