[Day 8 - MA] Sassy Massassi

The Queen of the Massassi was taken by surprise when many of her retinue turned on her on the steps of the temple… they had killed the Imperial Guard and were about to make their way in when the Emperor’s whispers filled their heads and turned them against their Queen…

Thankfully the hybrids seemed immune or at least inured to the whispers and fought valiantly at her side!

Mahr howled

Part of it was rage, part of it was pain. He tried to take back control of his own body but was powerless. The Emperor had made a puppet out of him.

Tyr and Mahr were tentative allies, tacitly bonded by their stand against the Emperor. As Malgus' forces locked down the spaceport, Tyr tried to reach two people: Xal and Mahr. Neither of them were responding. Hoping (vainly, it would turn out) that Xal was far enough from the conflict to not become embroiled, Tyr judged that aiding the massassi Queen was the political choice. A gesture to show Malgus and Tyr were on the massassi's side.

The City was chaos pure and simple, so it was a easy enough to want to be outside it. That he intercepted a communication that the Massassi queen was in danger on his way out was mostly just a coincidence. Sure it hadn't been meant for him but Tyr had seemed a nice enough fellow, so with his assistants he made his way over.

Hopefully this wouldn't turn too dangerous.

Mahr charged and crashed into the Queen with a fury the two of them locked in combat as the floor gives out underneath them, as they crash through to whatever was underneath!

Three massassi warriors remain, their eyes red like Mahr with rage and the Emperor’s control. Nearby there is a security station with an inert Domination Droid powered down connected to it, the droid was nearly four meters in height in the powered down state.

Below Mahr can feel the Emperor’s will to hunt the Queen his vision clears and he can see she has escaped deeper into the tunnels.

Well, that might prove useful, especially with a mad Massasi warrior chasing the queen through some sort of collapsed compound.

"EG-04R take care of those Massassi." Alister ordered as he moved towards the Domination Droid. Maybe he could usurp control over it.

Vair'ea in the meantime moved to cover the scientist, blaster pistol at the ready.

Alister frowned at the lock. That was unexpected, why did people lock thingd anyways? "Vair'ea, could you help me here?" Alister asked, as he gestured towards the offending device. This was why he brought a Chiss along, right?"

The woman repressed a sigh and set her blaster to the side as she got to work. Mangaing to open the lock with only minor difficulties.

Meanwhile EgG-O4R moved to join Tyr in Case battle errupted.

Tyr was surprised by the appearance of the tall noble, but it was short-lived as Mahr crashed into his beloved Queen and the floor beneath them gave way. He considered giving chase, but the remaining mind-controlled massassi posed a more immediate threat, and Tyr didn't think Alister's posse would be enough to tie them up while he tried to find Mahr in the catacombs below.

As it turned out, Lucinia was also there. Perhaps she just wasn't noticed due to all the black she was wearing.

Frowning, she stepped forward. "Lord Dravvad. Ummm..." A slow nod to the Shistavanen. "Allow me to assist."

Sternly, she moved to join them, ready to help whichever would benefit most from it.

Tyr was mostly still in his right mind, shooting a glace at Lucinia, as he ignited his lightsaber. Pointing at the red-eyes massassi, "if they try to follow the queen, stop them."

"Ah you help is most Appreciated, Lady Malveaux." He turned to offer the woman a nod. Listenign in a moment later as tyr spoke

"Yes, and with luck I should have this montrosity under my control shortly and it can crush any other interlopers that try and harm her." Alister murmured as he watched Vair'ea work.

Nodding, Lucinia turned to the Massassi, her green eyes cold, and visibly darkening.

(Can drop some rocks on them? Incapacitating cave-in?)

The posessed massassi could not find his Queen despite the unatural dirve the Emperor set in him. Despite this, his body continued forward following the corridors seemingly at random until he could find her
