“You don’t have the strength to do what is needed. You could have been the Empress, instead you will die in obscurity.”

Yet the full force of his words lack sincerity.

He batted the attack away with his bare hands and said, “Semantics.”

Vas-Tsu leaped upon his back and stabbed at his throat again this time with a blackened blade and hissed, “You are not ze Umbral dark, you are ze Void… and you vill die.”

He stumbles as the blade slips deep into him.

OOC: Stabs him with an ebon blade like the one Jun-Tsu made, opening him up to an attack by Shaisha. This is made at Easy, ignore Adversary or defense.

She was the opening and went for it, even if she felt her movements being hampered.

Valkorian grimaced as he gripped the blade and pulled it from his body. He frowned and said, “You have not won.”

He faded.

Saber at the ready, she looked around, searching and sensing for him... or anything else.

"It's not over yet..." she murmured.

She felt Valkorian before she could see him and was pulled toward the throne where he appeared seated looking at her. He spoke, “I offered my power freely to you, on Nal Hutta you were so eager to accept my aid and this is how you repay me?”

“I offer succor and you bite the hand that feeds you?”

She could hear Vas-Tsu making her way up the steps before Valkorian made a wave his of hand and cast her into the void. He focused back on Shaisha, “So now you have to watch.”

Around her she could see the events transpiring around the Emperor and even hear herself speak.

"You lied, and I now see you for what you truly are," the woman hissed between gritted teeth. How foolish she had been back then.

She felt a mixture of hope and despair, seeing the ones gathered made her feel hopeful that they would win. Seeing her father, she though back to the first vision she had... that he would abandon her in the Void... and she hoped that would not come to pass.

"A coward. Afraid. You should be; I've seen how you die."

She tried to break free of the grip that held her in place, feeling like she almost made it...

"Is that what you think?" Shaisha sneered. "They will defeat you... you can't escape your destiny. You even know it, but you're too scared to face it."

Valkorian replied, “I fear nothing.”

His eyes looked distant as if he was looking past her, and she could feel that even though she could not free herself his hold on her was slowly weakening, something was drawing his attention.

She didn't know what was drawing his attention away, perhaps the incoming fight... but she was going to take advantage of it.

As she continued to fight against his hold, Shaisha tried to sneak a look at what it could be that was distracting him.
