Remmington readies himself and takes a breathe as he tracks all the potential allies and enemies on the field of battle. Even if they somehow walk away from this, there is still Darth Malgus to deal with. He notes as the bombardment continues on in the background as the shields around the People's Tower holds for now.

The bombard flashed the sky even with the daylight, as the city of New Adasta far below was laid out before them they could feel the Dark Side strengthening them as little Vas-Tsu utilized Battle Meditation.

The Wrath seeing that this was his moment struck at the Emperor, a look of genuine surprise creased his lips as their blades clashed, even with his skill it was easy to see the Emperor was quite skilled in the art of lightsaber combat…

Lord Tenebrous flipped forward and used her ghostly lightsaber to strike Remmington with a well placed attack easily piercing his defenses!

OOC: The Emperor is Adversary 5 and Defense 4, Lord Tenebrous is Adversary 4 and Defense 4 she is currently running Sense with 2 Upgrades to the first two attacks against her. Imperial Guard Immortal is Adversary 1 and the Imperial Elite are minions, they are currently clustered at short range to the group except for the Witness who is basically at Engaged.

Player can dictate Despair, Remmington hit 11 wounds Breach 1, 10 advantage total, so 4 to deny parry, 2 for critical, +20 critical for another 4 advantage! Ignore the setback dice, she removes 1 setback so actually 11 Advantage so boost die to next ally. She suffers 2 strain to Aim and move into Engaged with Remmington.

The Wrath is Engaged with the Emperor.

Will spend Destiny if any of the Emperor's Retinue is attacked.

Lord Tenebrous is behind the players on the opposite side at Short range every one is on the 5 meter wide ramp overlooking the destruction of the city.

Imperial Guard Immortal is already engaged, Xyl moves back and Imperial Guard moves to Engaged again and attacks but misses will us Advantage to deny her us of Melee Defense.

Things weren't exactly in their favour, but then they rarely were. Jo'ren leapt into the fray and, having seen that the Imperial Guard were caught flat-footed, unleashed a savage attack. His twin blades spun and carved through their defenses.

The Imperial Guard do their best to resist but Jo'ren is able to shred through them cutting them down with ease.

Xyll stepped back again, outside of the range of the immortal guard's immediate reach, and would attempt to lift up a conveniently placed heavy crate nearby to throw at them.

5 successes, 1 DS to activate move. 1 DS to activate strength upgrades; gets up to silhouette 2. Can't spend another destiny (since 1 was already used) so can't get up to silhouette 3. I seem to remember a dapper ruling pre-game start on a question of mine about getting to throw something with smaller silhouette in situations like this where the roll is a success at higher difficulty but without getting the pips together?; don't know if that actually applies. If it does: 25 damage from a silhouette 2 object. If not, 0 damage because i can't get sil 3 despite sux.

1 advantage to boost next PC

1 maneuver to aim. 2 strain for 2nd maneuver to move to short. Will use destiny if they move into engaged range with her for Pre-emptive Avoidance as an out-of-turn incidental.

Lord Tenebrous' strike came down so hard and fast that he did not time to bring up his lightsabers to parry the blow in time and he merely take it. The blow makes his body feel a bit numb to the point where all he can do it take a stimpack. "That stings. Nice strike there."

Xyll reached out with the Force but she could not muster the strength to move what she wanted.

OOC: Just to allay confusion in the future we can break up Force rolls that have a skill check into two rolls, roll Force first to see if you get the required pips for what you intend to do which means stating in the description what you want to do, and then roll and seeing if you have enough pips and then make the skill check, this way if you say want to move silhouette 2 but failed to get enough pips then you don’t have to go further it simply failed.

Did some brief searching and this seemed like a clean way to do this. Next PC.

The hot thrill of abolition mixed with the cold intensity of her hatred for the gaping wound in the Force. With a quiet calm, she stepped in front of Vas-Tsu throwing out a hand in a wide arc towards the remaining guard, an arc of emerald force shot through the air, with a snap. It streaked out at the immortal guardsman with a weak hiss, as though this pathetic being was not who the Dark Side truly wished to destroy. All the same, the flash a dark power, was enough to draw the attention of those that stood against her. Only one strong enough in the Dark Side could hope to channel such forces. The witch had even with such a minor demonstration shown her strength in the Force.

Discipline (Willpower)/Unleash = 1 success, 3 advantage, 3 Dark Side (+3 success from Vas-Tsu)

OOC: 4 base damage + 4 for success, +1 for Strength Upgrade (9 damage total); Advantage spent to give next person 1 boost die (1 advantage), and give Jo'ren a boost die on his next roll (2 advantage)

Jaheem moved to help the Emporer's witness as she fought the immortal guard. The saber hit the immortal moving through her armor, the crimson blade doing grevious damage as the weapon was designed to do.

Any lesser being would have been dead, but the Imperial Guard Immortal was among the best of the Imperial Guard, using her double bladed Force Pike as a powerful defensive tool and her custom armor to negate the strength of the lightsaber.

The clash left her unscathed.

OOC: The Immortal Parried reducing by 6, her armor soaks the rest the Immortal suffers 2 wounds and suffes a reduced Critical Injury. Her armor has Cortosis quality. Suffers 3 strain. 3 wounds suffered thus far from Jun-Tsu and Jaheem, Reduce critical injury by 50.

So 115 - Temporarily Lame (Cannot perform more than one Maneuver); Upon receiving Critical Injury procs Unto Death (Increase soak by 1 until end of Scene, can stack.)

Dayana kept her arms raised, one holding the saber by her side and the other pointing out the destruction. She kept her steps precise, even with her aching joints due to a history of injury.

"Lord Tenebrous, no, Shaisha," Dayana began, "It is not your will to see the Empire burn. We spoke of a better one, one that does not have its people squabble for the amusement of a despot."

Her hand extended out to Shaisha, both as an offering of friendship but also to assert herself through the living Force. "You defied his games before. This should be no different."

The Emperor screeches and then flips and kicks off the Wrath at Jo’ren and with a vicious assault of crimson blades they clash with a fury but the Emperor is quick and fast as he twirls through the air nimble and quick.

His lightsabers hungered for more.

OOC: 3 advantage total total of 17 wounds breach 1, 2 advantage to hit with second weapon for another 17 wounds and generate a critical Injury

Emperor will commit 2 dice to Sense, no longer controlling Lord Tenebrous he is focused now, will spend 3 strain to use Sense as maneuver so 2 upgrades to attack and defense for first two attacks; maneuver to engage Jo’ren staying within short range of the Immortal Imperial Guard; suffer 2 more strain.

The Imperial Guard Immortal spins her weapon as she stays near the Emperor the two moving in tandem as she strikes out at Jaheem but he escapes any serious harm as she keeps him off balance and kicks his weapon from his hand!

Meanwhile the Emperor parries the Wrath attacking from behind and engaged the Wrath once more in melee.

OOC: Imperial Guard Immortal uses Bodyguard (2) for 2 strain as a maneuver on The Imperial and then attacks Jaheem. Missed but generated 6 advantage; 2 to remove Melee defense, 3 to disarm Jaheem and 1 to recover Strain.

Emperor is Adversary 5, Bodyguard 2, Sense for first two attacks on him for a total of 9 upgrades and Defense 4, the Immortal has Adversary 1.

The Emperor is tied up with the Wrath for his action so that is now two rounds. If attacked the Immortal or the Emperor will use Destiny, now PC turns.
