"Perhaps. Well, I suppose it is of little real concern to me. Her fancies are only a distraction for my mind." The masked redhead then fully turned to regard Alister. "I am curious though: were you to be engaged to her, would you be accepting of these dalliances?"

"Likewise." He agreed with a smirk, turning towards Dayana as she moved to face him. "If I were engaged to Lady Malveaux?" He paused thoughtfully for a moment.

"Honestly? Likely so. I've never been under the impression that I'd marry for love, and I'm not particularly the jealous type. So I would allow her the dalliances she wished as long as she allowed any I might have."

"There shouldn't be many problems as long as there weren't any children born from them."

She smiled warmly and dipped her head. "Thank you. We realized we complemented one another well."

"I was looking at getting healthcare and research into shape in the Empire. It's a bit haphazard and inefficient, I discovered during my time here," she said with a shake of her head. "I will let my fiance speak for his own plans." She looked toward Jaheem.

Jaheem's lips curved slightly at the corner as he looked to his fiance but he kept his emotions muted since they were in public. As Shaisha asked her question Jaheem shrugged a little "Well with Hurn gone the inquisition will need a leader, something to shoot for I suppose. As I said in court today the security of our Empire is still one of my greatest concerns." He said before taking a long drink.

"Hurn's death was a loss, but we will make due," she had been one of her supporters on the council during the race, but with that over, Shaisha didn't mourn Hurn's death too much.

She nodded thoughtfully to both of their plans for the future. "Interesting... I have not personally thought about the healthcare of the Empire before, but it's a clever angle, my lady. Just like how security provides for a prosperous Empire, so too does better healthcare, ensuring healthier and more robust workers."

After all, a warmachine didn't run on dreams and hopes of conquest. It needed tools, weapons, and manpower.

"It seems like the two of you combined will be a might to make great improvements for the future."

"I see," Dayana stated again. She finally lifted her glass of wine to her lips and partook a bit in the revelry. When she was done, she flashed a polite smile to Alister. "Darling, what will you be doing after everything here calms? Well, relatively speaking."

"Yesterday changed much for me, so some time to reconsider the situation properly is needed. But I'm certain both of you will hear of it when my choice is made."

Speaking of the future Dracosvina saw an opportunity and seized upon it, seeing blood in the water. She finished her drink and her minion replenished it and she approached tenebrous and said, “Lord tenebrous, we meet again and may I say you are fierce and powerful as ever, I am sure you are familiar with House Malveuax. You may have even seen my elder sister, Lucinia… if she ever gets out.”

“Anyway, with the great changes in the Empire it is time that a Malveaux moves closer to the nexus of power and I see no better Sith to attach myself to than you. I was top of my class, skilled in many mysteries of ancient lore and of course schooled in all the proper arts of high society.”

Jaheem had been about to reply when Drascovina showed up, he smirked at the interaction between the two. He may not have known Shaisha incredibly well but he doubted Drascovina was her first choice in apprentice.
