[Day 10 - EE] Imperial Procession

[Lt. Tyber Rook]

He was with the military detatchment. While not on duty, Tyber was essentially on call in case anything happened. His armor highly polished and buffed to a mirror finish, thanks to the efforts of the DUM droids who now seemed to always affect pure military discipline in the Wing. Part of him hoped that the Colonel wouldn't relegate them back to their crate.

They were charmingly, inoffensively blundering idiots. But they could do work.

His arms folded across his chest, as his head turned, visor not showing where exactly he was looking.

[Jaheem Abasi]

Of course Jaheem was there, he planned to show his support for the new regime. He was in his armored robes and his dual lightsabers were at his side, he hopped he wouldnt need to use them but one could never be too careful.

[Lucinia Malveaux]

Lucinia did not enjoy politics, nor social situations. But she knew what would be expected of her as a Malveaux.

She sighed, watching the proceedings, trying not to look to bored. Aloof, that was the right tone, and something she could certainly pull off. But there was no denying that, to her at least, it lacked that tangible excitement, the fear, of the Emperor's visit.

Oh well.

[Lord Bellious]

Lord Bellious was present, though not readily apparent, choosing to diminish her visibility with a winter cloak. She didn't position herself as a symbol or a prominent beneficiary of the new regime.

This was a social gathering, Mahr knew that. People came here to be seen, Mahr knew that too.

People in power could not afford to miss he thought.

Thus he looked for Tayana

Lucinia did not enjoy politics, nor social situations. But she knew what would be expected of her as a Malveaux.

"Enjoying your evening?" Alister asked as he approached Lady Malveaux in the crowd. He had expected to see her here. Where else would a noble be at this point of time after all.

She was present in her own private hovering viewing area upon seeing Mahr she waved gracefully as the hovering platform descended to ground level. She smiled sweetly as she enjoyed the view with the rest of her family, well hr husband and daughter but there was plenty of room if she wanted to add more.

She said, “Mahr,it is a pleasure. You and your people have my condolences on your loss, she was an amazing woman.”

The warriorbring his fist to his heart in a solemn manner

That said he returns to a more relaxed position

Getting a little bored with the cheering Jo'ren walked over to talk to a familiar face. He nodded to Abasi as he approached, the crowd melting out of his way.

"Lord Abasi, you enjoying the parade?" Nothing like a regime change to bring out the crowds. It was much more comfortable than the one with the guy who was hungry for their souls.

That said he returns to a more relaxed position

Tayana offered him to join her and said, “It has been an exciting few days, but it is always a pleasure to see a dear friend especially after this bloody coup. The family is doing well enough, we did not suffer any harm.”

“Ah and of course introduction, this is my husband Darth Xevious and my daughter, Serani.”

Serani smiled and said, “Mahr, Champion of the massassi, it is a pleasure.”

Darth Xevious said, “Pleasure.”

Mahr accepted the invitation in the polite way to do so according to his customs

The warrior greeted both daughter and husband in turn, the later one as a warrior since he remembered the talk in the gallery.

He doubted the man saw much battle these days though

The hovering platform smoothly took to the air as she responded, “Just doing our part to support the new regime as it were, patriotism must be visible if it is to be effective.”

Sylvain was too at the parade. He found a balcony along the route of a known acquaintance and watched the procession with an inscrutable look on his features.

“Politics is a dangerous game, Mahr. Your powerful skill in battle and the arts will be sorely tested in the arena of politics,” she said giving him her full attention for the moment.

“I do think you could inject a certain earnestness and honesty to political dialogue, but still it is a dangerous place.”

Jaheem asked looking up to Jo'ren with one eyebrow arched slightly.

"Hmmm? Oh." Turning, Lucinia gave Alister the barest hint of a smile. "Good evening, Alister."

She frowned, looking back at the procession. "Oh, I suppose." Lucinia said, giving a vague wave of her hand. "Truthfully, I'd be here whether I was enjoying myself or not. Such are the requirements of being a Malveaux, after all."

Jaheem nodded to Jo'ren as he approached "It is enjoyable to see the people united in support. Things go so much simpler when the peons and common folk are happy. Less chance fools like the Eagle can gain supporters. Plus I assume this will go better than last time. What of yourself? Optimistic about the new Empress?" Jaheem asked looking up to Jo'ren with one eyebrow arched slightly.

He laughed at the comment about peons. "Yeah. I've met her a few times now. I think she's going to lead us all to great things." And hopefully not go crazy and try to eat the galaxy.

He stood next to his fellow conspirator and looked out at the sea of reasonably happy faces. "What will you do now? I assume our new Empire will still need an Inquisition."
