She gestured and pulled a chair to her to sit, with a heavy sigh she frowned and said, “Perhaps… but I wanted to be the one that kills him.”

She sheathed her lightsaber and then said, “So now I am alone… again.”

"I wouldn't rule that out just yet." Bellious sat opposite to her. "More like solitary. But I have this place where you are welcome, and my sister is your apprentice. And it looks like we often have something to discuss."

She was silent unsure of how she felt about that and then said, “Fine, I suppose we do have some things in common and your sister has proven herself quite capable.”
She frowned and then said, “My apologies for the mess.”

“Soldiers clean this mess up and be quick about it.”

Bellious nodded. "What's life without some spontaneous violence. Can I offer a drink?"

She gestured agreement on the matter of a drink and said, “What is your fascination with Mandalorians?”

Her tone shows anything but respect for them.

"It's not fascination, it's a strategic choice of constructing a commonality. I do not succumb, I appropriate." The drinks were provided. For Moyr, the usual. For Zhorrid, whatever she wanted. Blood wine was on the menu. "The facts are that even dispersed, they provide a sole military power other than ours than can give the Republic real trouble. But the reverse is true as well, so I'd rather have them on our side. It's doable because they have a history of resentment with the Republic. The Taung, progenitors of Mandalorians, were once natives of Coruscant driven away by whatever bred the Republic. And than there is Malachor, and the humiliation of what happened next."

A sip. "On Bankor, one small coup and one Mandalorian Clan kept the enemy busy in the Outer Rim for months, and left them cheering over reclaiming a devastated world. Having a twin-bladed sabre may seem unwieldy at first, but it lets one blade go for the throat while the other goes for the gut."

Moyr paused. "Or you can disbelieve and doubt all that, so I have a simpler reason as well: I want to see the galaxy burn. And they are good arsonists."

“So burn everything down and then what, rebuild in your image,” she said taking some whiskey variant off the menu.

"Maybe. But that would mean I believe in some better world. I don't. And I don't hunger for ultimate power to sit on. That would make me want to preserve it, and draw me to the Light. As Sith we're supposed to be breaking chains, not chaining ourselves down. All I want is liberation through the Force. Creation will take care of itself, and stagnation always comes after. It's the utter destruction, a true disintegration that is hard and worthwhile. All the fearful in this world conspire against you doing that, attached to all things dear to them."

She took a deeper drink. "I think this is your father's legacy, that all should be cast into darkness and taste their primordial fears that civilisation insulates them from."

“I don’t see the point then, just destroy everything and then what, nothing? Where is the power in that?” she asked.

"Power is easy come, easy go, can be found everywhere, even on the ruins of burnt world, nothing but fuel for greater purposes. It only matters inasmuch as you need it to win. It's all about ultimate freedom." Moyr tilted her head. "At least this is my reading of the Sith Code."

She did not agree but she relented and said, "Perhaps it will serve you well. I would rather have power than unchecked freedom."

Moyr thought about disabusing her from the simpler avenues of her mindset by touching on what she had learnt about the manner and reason for Zhorrid's mother's death. But she decided against it. There was no gain in being proselytising and trying to get on the same page regardless of cost. Current detente was frail and it could easily fall apart if Zhorrid felt patronised or her traumas were pulled to the fore.

"I see why. But if we were to cooperate at any point for a goal we could consider common it would not serve us well to be too alike."

“Agreed.”

“I am used to hating you, it will take time to not hate you. Hatred is the only thing I have now, since my father has denied me his murder,” she said with disgust.

“But I think working together could be… fun.”

"You have what it takes to make it so." Moyr smirked, rolling rocks in her whiskey.

"Same." Moyr rose too. "Thank you for your visit." She glanced around to learn how the cleanup was going.

They were diligent, she would still have work to do but they did what they could to remove the worst of it.
