"The results are always good," Shaisha offered as a compliment to her continued business.

"True, it's not something to miss. Though I didn't take you for a social butterfly, mr. Dravvad," she mused with a playful smirk as she took a sip from her glass. "Perhaps you have ulterior motives to attend such an event, or merely coming out of your laboratory more?"

"Are you saying I might of heard that the mysterious Lord Tenebrous was attending, and in order to put face to name I came out of seclusion?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, before taking a sip of his wine.

He shook his head banishing a amused smile, apparently not exactly expecting a response. "You are right that it is unusual for me to be out though, and I do have my motives. They'll stay secret though, at least until I've had more wine."

[Lord Tenebrous]

"I would not seek to render you incapable of serving your Lord." Ilar protests as he tries to charm his way into her good graces. Holding up a hand to deflect her words, he continues.

"As another who serves at the will of one more powerful than myself, I would never put you in such a position. As for how I came to serve Lady Ausar? I initially served her former Master Darth Acklys, when his position was...vacated, my service was transferred."

"... I see," she said thoughtfully as Ilar explained his circumstances. "A slave then. Your master must feel confident about your abilities if she allows you to roam around freely on Ziost. It's not so long ago that Ziost only allowed humans and those of the pureblooded Sith to step foot on this world - but times have changed greatly since the Empire's revelation to the rest of the galaxy."

"Are you saying I might of heard that the mysterious Lord Tenebrous was attending, and in order to put face to name I came out of seclusion?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, before taking a sip of his wine.

He shook his head banishing a amused smile, apparently not exactly expecting a response. "You are right that it is unusual for me to be out though, and I do have my motives. They'll stay secret though, at least until I've had more wine."

She chuckled warmly at his question. "Maybe, but I'm not that vain to believe whatever motivations you had were centered around me." Well, she was vain, but not that vain.

"But more wine can always be arranged, depending on how much you want to imbibe before Tayana's salon. She does tend to have quite a good selection for her guests. More than just wine too... or is wine your preferred poison?"

"Well, I dont think I'm quite young enough to yell 'Shots' and down a drink while I dance around to some low throbbing music. So I tend to stick to wine." He answered a amused smile tugging at his lips.

"But I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. Wine just seems more my speed?" He glanced at his glass. "I'm never in all that much of a hurry to get... What's the word? Shammered?"

"... I see," she said thoughtfully as Ilar explained his circumstances. "A slave then. Your master must feel confident about your abilities if she allows you to roam around freely on Ziost. It's not so long ago that Ziost only allowed humans and those of the pureblooded Sith to step foot on this world - but times have changed greatly since the Empire's revelation to the rest of the galaxy."

Possessing no shame about his role, society might shame him but internally he was comfortable with himself, Ilar nodded slowly.

"Master Ausar is of one of the purest bloodlines of Sith, why should they object to whatever property she brings with her? As for the freedom of my movements, well she has wisdom a plenty to realize that she cannot be everywhere at once, I frequently run errands for her and serve as somewhat of a mouthpiece from time to time. She had an engagement that she wished to attend to in these few hours before the party, so requested I make myself scarce and meet with her at Darth Tayana's party."

"Well, I dont think I'm quite young enough to yell 'Shots' and down a drink while I dance around to some low throbbing music. So I tend to stick to wine." He answered a amused smile tugging at his lips.

"But I do enjoy the occasional cocktail. Wine just seems more my speed?" He glanced at his glass. "I'm never in all that much of a hurry to get... What's the word? Shammered?"

"You hardly look that old, mr. Dravvad," she teased with an equally amused tone.

"Shammered? Thought the word of kids these days was whizzed, or something like that. What do I know... it's been a few years since I went to a club, and that was on Nar Shaddaa. Is it a place you've had the chance to visit?"

Possessing no shame about his role, society might shame him but internally he was comfortable with himself, Ilar nodded slowly.

"I think it was more a matter of defiling holy ground when such laws were still in place. Similar to Korriban in some ways. It wasn't something covered in my schooling exactly, and well, it's been some time since those laws," she gave a calm shrug, still unflappable as before even as she picked out a glass of white wine. "I grew up on Begeren, so that was far removed from such high social circles such as this."

"But I think my advice to you from what I've seen since my family and I came to Dromund Kaas, and I later here to Ziost, would be to not take for granted that you have a Sith lord for a master. In the eyes of some, slaves are no better than furniture, and consider harming or killing slaves on the same level as vandalism at best." Hyuna offered him a calming smile. "Don't worry though, her Lordship is not one of those Sith. She is a fair and just Lord from what I have seen of her in the two years I have worked as her attendant."

Ilar listened attentively to the history lesson, and then to the advice. He nodded appropriately and took his time to formulate a response.
"I must thank you for sharing your wisdom on this. I must admit to being unaware of those thankfully archaic laws, I can only presume my Master did not share them with my due to their current irrelevance. Perhaps my current behaviour is too much influenced by the freedoms my Master affords me and I should keep a lower profile. It is a fine line to walk between serving one's Master's wishes and acting in one's own best interests."

He runs his finger around the rim of his glass as his eyes drop lower.
"But in failing her my death would be no less certain than the one I face from the scenario you paint with your words Ms Naath. Serving here in the Core Worlds seem much more complicated than Lord Ausar's holdings in the Outer Rim."

"You hardly look that old, mr. Dravvad," she teased with an equally amused tone.

"Shammered? Thought the word of kids these days was whizzed, or something like that. What do I know... it's been a few years since I went to a club, and that was on Nar Shaddaa. Is it a place you've had the chance to visit?"

"Oh? I suppose that means if someone yell out 'shots' at the party this evening I may need to partake then." He'd half hoped he'd grown beyond youthful shenanigans at this point.

He shook his head. "It's likely you're right it's been years since I've been to anything resembling a club. Dancing isn't my forte after all." As the topic turned to Nar Shaddaa he shook his head. "No, I've never had the pleasure. Though if what I've heard is correct it might not nessacarily be a pleasure."

"It's complicated, yes. I sometimes miss the simpler life of Begeren, but I feel I can serve a higher purpose here." Not that she was too worried about being a case of vandalism.

"It must be difficult to serve your master though, unless your duties are mostly chores and shopping-errands? Most Sith won't tolerate a slave speaking to them, even on behalf of another Sith."

The Smuggler's Moon hold many distractions like clubs, casinos, exclusive entertainment, that kind of things, but there's also plenty of opportunity to find almost anything on the market. Tech, restricted items, stuff from all around the galaxy... Ziost and Dromund Kaas can offer a lot, but well, importing isn't the Empire's greatest strength."

[Ilar'Shala]

"It's complicated, yes. I sometimes miss the simpler life of Begeren, but I feel I can serve a higher purpose here." Not that she was too worried about being a case of vandalism.

"It must be difficult to serve your master though, unless your duties are mostly chores and shopping-errands? Most Sith won't tolerate a slave speaking to them, even on behalf of another Sith."

"Not of anything of consequence, no." Ilar admitted, before gesturing languidly towards Lord Tenebrous. "But most Sith Lords delegate a little power to their assistants to deal with such minor things as appointment making and other such administrative tasks. Destroying the Empire's enemies leaves little time for approving wine lists and updating calendars."

[Lord Tenebrous]

Hyuna laughed at that. "Oh, I am thankful her Lordship doesn't require such work from me. I'd do a terrible job of approving wine lists anyway."

She cleared her throat and took a sip from the glass. "Administrative is more like what I do, as well as translations, as you might guess since I can speak Ryl. I also speak Durese, Huttese, Mando'a, Bocce, Dosh, and Jawaese, to name some."

[Ilar'Shala]

"One would surmise, perhaps incorrectly though, that given your talented tongue, your Lord is not quite as...insular with her thoughts on the role the galaxy's various species might play in the future of the Empire." Ilar gently probed, into what he hoped was a fairly innocent direction.

[Lord Tenebrous]

"As far as I know, she does not discriminate based on species," she said with a shrug, "after all, there's a Jawa mechanic on her ship. But I don't know her mind on the reasons why."

"Depends," she swished the contents of her glass around. "It can be a pleasure, depending on what you are looking for. The Smuggler's Moon hold many distractions like clubs, casinos, exclusive entertainment, that kind of things, but there's also plenty of opportunity to find almost anything on the market. Tech, restricted items, stuff from all around the galaxy... Ziost and Dromund Kaas can offer a lot, but well, importing isn't the Empire's greatest strength."

"Hrm." He pondered that for a few moments. "I suppose you make a good poitn here, perhaps I'll have to plan a visit sometime in the future." If nothing else to get a look at some of the gadgets others in the galaxy were working towards. "I suppose I've just heard more about the lawlessness and crime then anything else."

"It seems you enjoyed your time there though."

[Lord Tenebrous]

"Oh, the lawlessness and crime is rampant. Even in the nicer places," she laughed. "The majority of the planet seems to be ghettos with homeless people of various sorts... hardly something you'd see on an Imperial world."

Shaisha smiled and gave a shrug. "Though yes, I suppose I can say I had fun during my stay there. It was my first time seeing the galaxy beyond the Empire's borders, and well, it helps to broaden one's horizon."

"That sounds filthy." He murmured with a bit if a unpleasant look on his features for a moment. It likely meant no end of desperate people looking for anyway to make a credit too though. Which could be useful.

"I'm glad you were able to enjoy yourself though. Should I ever decide to expand my own horizons, I'll have to ask for some suggestions." He took a sip from his glass. "Though with my nature I might have a bit harder there."

"Did you get to see the arrival of the Great and Powerful Emperor earlier today?" Ilar asks, switching the subject slightly.

"That sounds filthy." He murmured with a bit if a unpleasant look on his features for a moment. It likely meant no end of desperate people looking for anyway to make a credit too though. Which could be useful.

"What surprised me the most was that the Republic seemed to act like seeing ghettos of delinquents and the like was just... something common to them. Makes you wonder what sort of life there is in the Republic for anyone who isn't an Alderaanian noble or a Jedi. Those seem to be decently well off, after all."

Shaisha studied the contents of her glass for a moment. "What about your nature would make it difficult, if I may ask?"

"I am grateful for such open minds wherever I can find them, regardless of motivations." He answered with a smile

"Did you get to see the arrival of the Great and Powerful Emperor earlier today?" Ilar asks, switching the subject slightly.

Hyuna thought that was a naive stance, but decided out of politeness to not comment on it. There were plenty of Sith who had ulterior motives in their 'open views' of xenos.

"I'm afraid I didn't get the chance. There were matters I had to see to, but I know my Lordship was there to see it. Her family serves the Emperor closely."

"It's for certain a filthy world," she agreed though she didn't seem too terribly bothered by it. "What surprised me the most was that the Republic seemed to act like seeing ghettos of delinquents and the like was just... something common to them. Makes you wonder what sort of life there is in the Republic for anyone who isn't an Alderaanian noble or a Jedi. Those seem to be decently well off, after all."

Shaisha studied the contents of her glass for a moment. "What about your nature would make it difficult, if I may ask?"

"It does at that." He mused thoughtfully. Of course the Empire had it's fair share of slave hovels, but that was different wasn't it? "Perhaps one could question one of the members of the Republic about that? Just for curiosity's sake."

"Oh? I thought you might know the answer to that." He glanced around their surroundings. "I'm much more accustomed to labs and the likes. Sharing wine with attractive women isn't exactly one of my strong suits. And most of the activities you described were similar in nature."

[Lord Tenebrous]

"Ah, that. Didn't think you considered it such a debilitating weakness... noted, mr. Dravvad. If I'm ever throwing a party, and think of inviting you, should I perhaps then reconsider it out of concern for your weakness?" she teased with some warmth in her tone.

[Alister Dravvad]

"Oh, I dont think I'd call it a debilitating weakness, Lod Tenebrous. I just think I'd spend more time in my hotel room studying some piece of technology instead of enjoying the cities night life." He paused thoughtfully. "Unless of course I brought the right companions along to encourage me to be social."

"So no need to concern yourself on my part. I'm sure the thought of any party you throw will be more then provacative enough to draw me out of my seclusion."
