On this post it says we can make a hard deception check to avoid suspicion increase, but the day 2 event didn't include that and instead said either a triumph or 3 advantage was needed.

Can we still attempt the deception check as an additional action?

Mayhem event... does the 3 Advantage or Triumph to avoid Suspicion increase have to come on the final roll of the Eagle track (the one that actually causes the Suspicion bump) or can it be from any roll?

The roll that has suspicion there is also an Hard deception check that can be made in general to avoid suspicion outside of the rolls.
