[Day 2 - ME] Imperial Summons [Closed]

[Dapper Dog]

The upper floors given over the Emperor's apartments were stark white with at least four Imperial Guards at the ready at all times.

[Lord Tenebrous]

Dressed in all official-like robes, Shaisha showed up to answer the summons.

It was not a meeting she was looking forward to, but well... not showing up would've made things very difficult at the moment.

[Dapper Dog]

The door opened and standing in the long hallway is Servant Nine she spoke, “I am Servant Nine, look at me.”

“Please remove your clothing and prepare for inspection. Lightsaber as well.”

[Lord Tenebrous]

Shaisha looked at Servant Nine head on this time, trying to pierce what it was she was supposed to see. Was there something she wasn't seeing?

But she had no intention of doing a strip. "Really?" she raised an eyebrow as her eyes narrowed. "That's not something I have any inclination to do."

[Dapper Dog]

"We must verify that you are unarmed," she responded looking perplexed at the refusal.


“I doubt Lord Tenebrous could best me in battle, she may pass Servant Nine,” The Wrath intoned as he entered the hall.

Servant Nine looked at the Wrath and then back to Shaisha and said, “I am Servant Nine, you may pass.”

[Lord Tenebrous]

She rolled her eyes, thought secretly she felt a little relieved for the Wrath's intervention. "At least someone has some sense around here."

And then, well, did they really think she could just pull something out of a secret compartment on her body to use as a weapon against the Sith Emperor? Then the Servants were really growing loopy.

"Lord Wrath," Shaisha acknowledged her father with a nod. A touch more respectful than she had been the last time they had really spoken.

[The Emperor]

The Emperor appeared just behind the Wrath and said, "Lord Tenebrous, please come in."

To the others he said, "Leave us."

He turned and entered the large circular meditation chamber.

[Lord Tenebrous]

She cast a glance to Scourge before moving inside the room. Perhaps she'd have a chance to speak with him later, but for now that thought was a distraction. A distraction she could not afford right now.

Once inside, she adopted a calm military-like posture, with her hands linked together infront of her.

[The Emperor]

The Emperor took up a meditative pose in the center of the white room and said, “How is our daughter?”

[Lord Tenebrous]

Her own posture remained unmoving as he sat.

"She is fine." And she's not your daughter.

[The Emperor]

“You have done well to raise her, the time will come soon when I will have my Hands take over and groom her,” he said to her.

[Lord Tenebrous]

She felt herself tense at that thought. Is this what Scourge had felt when they did the same to her? The thought was brief, but she steeled her nerves.

"That's unnescessary, and I have no intention of allowing it," Shaisha said firmly.

[The Emperor]

“I am your Emperor, your intentions are immaterial to me,” he said to her.

[Lord Tenebrous]

Thinking back to the moment on Yavin IV, when she came out the victor of the conflict of wills, gave her strength and confidence.

There was fear because no being was without fear, but she was in control of it in the way that it gave her more resolve. Fear was a powerful weapon that way.

"Did you call me here only to make claims I and others will refuse you no matter what you say, my lord? If so, then this is a waste of time."

[The Emperor]

“Who else would deny their Emperor, give me names,” he responded.

As the Emperor's presence probed into her mind, into her being... she felt her defenses slip. The walls she had erected to freeze him out since Yavin were melting.

No. Not right now. She didn't want to do this, but in the presence of this... monster... she didn't feel like she had any other choice now but to draw upon the power within. The power she discovered on Nar Shaddaa.

The other Emperor.

The boundless energy of his essence flowed through her in this moment.

Calling upon the power of Valkorian; roll succeeds, with a Triumph and a Despair.

Theme

She feels her will slipping when she reaches out for Valkorian and he nods with a sly smile and she feels her form suffused with power like she has never experienced. The Emperor smirked and reached out and shot lightning at her but she catches it in her palm, everything was moving in slow motion as if in water.

She turned and walked away as this was over and ripped the doors open and into the hall and suffused with Valkorian’s power. Lord Scourge locked eyes with her confused at what was happening and then casually knocked aside by the Force and she unleashed lightning into the Imperial Guard…

There is an explosion of power as she leapt from the Emperor’s apartment and descended into the darkness below.

[The Emperor]

The Emperor rose and was not angry. He smiled, and said, “Good.”

There is a black out in New Adasta.
