"The possibility is always there. Whether we wish to acknowledge it or not." He replied with a shrug. "It should not dissuade them from following their path, of course."

[Dapper Dog]

"Put it from your mind, it is beyond your control," she said.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Indeed. I have other things to occupy my thoughts and time. You made mention of contacts you have that may be helpful in my pursuits?" He asked as he hammered in a wedge.

[Dapper Dog]

"The Dread Masters," she said honestly.

"They have a great deal of power and influence behind the veneer of Imperial society."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Indeed. Their exploits in the war are well-known; their mastery of battle meditation unparalleled. As is their commitment to the Emperor." He replied.

"What is it that brings you... I suppose that is a secret... Uhm, well... How would I contact them? And what is it I could offer them that they are pursuing?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Darth Hofu may need your support for something in the coming days, aid in that may go a long way,” she said.

“Simple.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"So Hofu actually does have a connection to them; it's not just some religious line he is selling to people? I see... What is it that he will require? Or am I not privy to that information now? I do rather dislike surprises."

[Dapper Dog]

“I only know that he asked me, and I am now asking you, but he made it seem it would be obvious,” she replied.

“That is the best I can offer.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Hm. Very well... the most obvious thing would be his bid for the seat. But I will put out my feelers to make sure this is indeed what he is after." He replied.

He paused for a few moments while working at the same repetitive placing of support-boards and subsequent screwing. He then asked, "So what brings you back to the capital mother. I hope it isn't any sort of avian connection with a certain terrorist group."

[Dapper Dog]

“The Magpie is dead, I saw the show… wildly inaccurate but entertaining,” she said honestly.

“I am here because of the wedding and to make contact with old friends and new friends.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "You watched it? I didn't have the time. The real one turned into a jedi apparently..."

He shook his head, "Not giving up on your ambitions though, I hope?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Ambitions?” she said curiously, “And those would be?”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Last time we met it seemed you had lofty aspirations, though you weren't clear on what those were." He replied.

"What exactly happened there? I was there and can't piece it all together."

[Dapper Dog]

“It was a gambit and it did not achieve what I wanted, there is little else to say. I had plans, vengeance and anger… chaos to sew,” she said darkly.

“Now, I am distancing myself from such things, I have my ambitions but I am keeping them at a distance as I have other things I wish to focus on that are closer to home. There isn’t a satisfactory answer there, and I am not sure I can give you one,” she finished.

He nodded, "Very well. Sometimes it's best to just move on I suppose. I do wonder what they gambit was... but I suppose it doesn't matter now."

He brushed his hands on his pants after finishing up a section. "I notice you haven't asked me for help on these new endeavors though."

[Dapper Dog]

“Because we are different people, son. You have your things and I have mine and when we tried to collaborate our methods clashed. I see no reason to go down that road again,” she said with mild amusement.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "You are right of course. But it is nice to hear. Dispenses with the ambiguity."

He smiled, "I hope your methods won't send you on a collision course with me any time soon then."

[Dapper Dog]

"Considering you did not know about the Dread Masters until now, I doubt it," she said honestly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I suppose so. I knew of their absence. But Hofu and his people's faith sounds much like those fools who follow Revan. I will have to look into the Dread Masters further now."

[Dapper Dog]

She replied, "Did you speak with Darth Baras?"
