[Col. Hala Moraal]

Colonel Moraal made her way to the IIS security station within the People's Tower. One of them anyway. She presented her identification, she waited outside for several insulting minutes, and finally she was let inside. When the door closed, she sighed and let the Colonel go. Checking the computer system, she verified where the Eagle leader had been stored after detention the day before and made her way to the surveillance room next door. She also asked the system to page the Watcher involved with his detention. And for some caff.

Watcher Five entered and said, “Colonel, I had not guessed you would have an interest in this criminal. That was a joke, could you tell by the inflection in my tone? I am working on my humor, based on my research it is supposed to make me seem more personable.”

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Indeed," Watcher Seven responded levelly in respond before adding helpfully, "Though you may want to animate parts of your face to help clue in your interlocutor. Lips, cheeks, and eyebrows."

"What has been done to the subject so far, and what information has he been willing to share with us?"

[Dapper Dog]

“He knows very little of the Eagle operation, brought in from off-world by money and a chance at infamy. He was able to produce an image of. Malam Gil who we now have under surveillance… you are welcome to the prisoner, he will almost certainly be retired in the next 24 hours,” Watcher Five responded.

“Ss for what we have done, standard suite of enhanced Interrogation, by the numbers.”

"If he is of little use and little risk, transfer him to Military Intelligence so that they can feel included as well. General Unjin has asked Colonel Moraal to try and get the Intelligence Service to share. Without a few scraps, they may try something more forceful. He is aligning himself with Darth Malgus, and Malgus is also making a play at signalling his virtue by dealing with the Eagle rather publicly. There is value in our relative neutrality which the military does not share. Do you concur?" Watcher Seven posed thoughtfully.

"Do we have his name?" she added, looking through the glass at the man who, despite his age, was very close to retirement.

“Such posturing is foolish but if it will appease him then we can make that arrangement. He can have token access to some low level documents, about ten thousand pages of recon data, useless but it should make him feel like he is involved,” he said in reply.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"His backup plan involves a dataspike but since one has not been produced then this could be intended as misinformation," she frowned. She took a smooth breath and slipped the Colonel back on.

"I should meet our little Eagle's Feather," she said with a placid, knowing smile. With a nod, she picked up the datapad with the case file on it, gave it a cursory scan, and let herself into the interrogation room. Making a point of scanning the pad, she pitched her tone for professional disinterest.

"Please state your name for the record?" she asked, turning on the recorder on the pad.

“Igi Bonz,” the man said.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Igi Bonz, you have been charged with sedition and attempted murder of a Sith. Each of these carry a maximum penalty of capital punishment, plus lesser included offenses" she said, looking up from the data pad at him, "This charge is before military tribunal, and the sensitive nature of your activities means you will not have access to a civil advocate. Please confirm you understand the charges as I have read them to you. After that, you have an opportunity to cooperate or request clemency. Any effort you provide will weigh in your favor during the course of your prosecution."

“You think I am dumb, you’re gonna kill me Imp so skip the fancy kriff words and get on with it,” he said with a growl.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

She sighed softly and set the datapad slightly to the side.

"No," she said with a frown, "I think you're relatively smart. And I imagine that there is someone who would appreciate being able to see you again. And if you cooperate, that could be arranged. You could see people you care about again. Or you can cease to exist, and everyone who you've come in contact with will be picked up and screened, potentially detained further. And if they knew of your plans but didn't report it..... even if it didn't occur to them... Then their period of custody may be commensurately longer."

"Say that sounds good, what do you need from me," he responded.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Anything you can tell us. Eagle signal encryption patterns. How to identify and interpret their transmissions. Names and contacts. Ways to authenticate your identity. Valid, actionable Intel. I'm not the stick, Mr. Bonz. I'm just here to do my job, and inform you of the choice you have to make and the potential consequences of those actions."

“I don’t know any of that only how they contact me, I know one of them Talons is connected to the Eclipse, and supposedly there is like a private room? They call it the Temple… swear, but I never been in there,” he replied.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"How does one gain access to the Temple, and which Talon is it?" she inquired agreeably.

[Dapper Dog]

"I don't know... I swear," he replied.

Watcher Five's voice filled just her ear, "We have the Eclipse under constant surveillance, but it may require a more direct set of eyes. Our agents have not made much success."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"That's fine," she said, kindly if not quite soothingly.

"Just provide us with whatever information you can, and if you aren't completely sure about something then let us know that too. As long as you are straight with me, I can continue to factor in your assistance as a mitigating factor. Just what you know, as best you know it, but everything you know. Yes?"

She stretched slightly in her chair, then looked at him with a slight smile.

"Do you need anything? Would you like something to eat?"

He describes what he could but it is obvious he does not know more and is just going in circles trying to say things that seem helpful but are already known or just not useful. Beyond the Temple he has never been in there or know how to get in but he does say that the Raptor has access to the Temple but no idea who the Raptor is.


He wants some greasy fast food.

"Thank you," she said with a nod, "I will leave the recorder on while I go try to arrange your dinner. You can take the time to mention anything else that occurs to you, inform us of any medical conditions you have that we should be aware of during your stay, and if you would like to make a formal confession in your own words. Is there anything else you need?"

"Smokes?" he offered.
