[Day 3, MM] Let's Try This Again

[Xal Kimlya]

Xal's first attempt to find Doctor H’iza hadn't worked out. After waiting for an hour, he had finally been told that the doctor wasn't in and was sent away. The arkanian was undeterred, however, and decided to come back today, if only to escape the chaos in New Adasta.

He had not come alone. GR8-1 was with him, of course. But, he'd mentioned his intention to come here to a friend, who was intrested in coming along. It was nice to have the company.

[Tyr]

Tyr, in his spiked and ridged black armour and thermal cloak - as always - stomped towards Xal and his droid, “morning,” he grunted.

[Xal Kimlya]

"It is morning." Xal nodded, adjusting his goggles. "It seems brighter than usual."

[Tyr]

Shrugging, "I sleep when it's convenient, morning, evening, doesn't bother me." He ignored the droid.

[Xal Kimlya]

"I appreciate your coming with me." the arkanian added. "It makes this much more tolerable."

A female duros in a long white gown entered and stared before saying in Huttese, “Which one of you is Xal Kimlya?”

[Xal Kimlya]

Hearing his name, the arkanian spoke up. "I am Xal Kimlya."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am Dr. H'iza, welcome we have been expecting you," she said in Huttese.

"I won't waste time, we have need of someone for a position that opened up recently and your name was floated to me."

[Xal Kimlya]

"What does this position entail?" he asked.

[Tyr]

Tyr was simultaneously surprised, and not, at the appearance of the duros. It wasn’t that he thought no massassi could be smart enough to be a doctor, but he could imagine a degree of social resistance around being too brainy. He wondered what an intellectual massassi might sound like, half-listening to Xal’s conversation.

[Dapper Dog]

She continue in Huttese, “Advanced education in xenobiology and psychology; but most importantly as a Sith you have some unique gifts and talents that the massassi would respect.”

[Xal Kimlya]

He nodded. "A rapport with the massassi would be beneficial, then. May I select my own assistants?"

[Dapper Dog]

"You may as long as they are also cleared by HR and Public Security," she responded.

[Xal Kimlya]

"They are accompanying me today." he looked to GR8-1 and Tyr. "I am interested in this position, but I do have other projects I am working on. Will that be a problem?"

[Tyr]

Tyr nodded when his name was mentioned, folding his arms across his broad chest while he waited.

[Dapper Dog]

"I would prefer you be wholly focused here, but you ar Sith," she said looking at his company.

[Xal Kimlya]

He nodded. "I think we have an acceptable arrangement, then."

[Tyr]

Tyr winked at the Duros when she looked his way.

[Dapper Dog]

The duros woman looked again at all three and then said, "This way to your lab."

[Xal Kimlya]

"I look forward to seeing it."

Xal followed, gesturing for the others to do so as well.
